A loud knock could be heard from the other side of the large oak double doors leading to he office. "Come in." A loud booming voice called from inside the office.

In came a young (H/C) girl with shining red eyes, nervousness was ever present in her.

"Did you need me Dad..?" She asked, her hands deep within her pants pocket as not to fidget. Her father scared her, he was powerful, dominating, strict, and had a naturally loud voice, like most of her family.

"Yes, sit down (Y/N) we have a lot to talk about..." He said as he gestured to the two leather chairs in front of him.

She took shaky steps forward from her position by the door and took a seat on the chair to the left, leaning into it as if she wanted to sink and never reappear.

"As you know, your being sent to UA for 2 reasons. To better yourself and your inability to pay correct attention to your surroundings and to protect the students there." He said, stressing your flaw. "Am also sure that you remember that boy Todoroki Shouto as well? His father was Endeavor. You've met them before but I'm unsure if you remember them."

"Shouto... The peppermint kid from when I was 5?" She asked, earning a stern look from her father.

He let out a sigh but nodded. "His father, Enji Todoroki, better known as Endeavor, has plans for our company and his own. He is willing to sponsor our new branch in Japan. On the condition that you two work as a team."

"A team..? That's it?" She asked, she began to shift uncomfortably. It sounded nice at first, to have a partner to work with, especially someone she knew, but there was always a catch.

"In a sense, yes. Although, I'm afraid there was more to his... suggestion..." Her father said sighing. "He would like to arrange a marriage between you two." he muttered.

Her eyes widened and her mouth opened, but her words were caught in her throat. An arranged marriage? Much alike all of the romantic tragedies that her mother read. She took a deep breath and was about to retort, but her father beat her too it.

"I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, your mother's against it as well as I am. We're not going to tie you to someone who you aren't willing to. If you wish to marry him in the future you may, but we are not going through with any proposals concerning your freedom. Don't worry (Y/N)." He said as he stood up and walked over to her. "We would never put you in a position like that." He gently ruffled her hair and turned back to the windows behind him.

All the while she looked up at her father with an almost forgotten feeling. She admired him for a moment, that for once she wasn't afraid or intimidated by him. She would remember this, but it would do her little good of an argument after she had been informed that she was to head to Japan because she was inadequate as a hero. Because she had failed her father and several other lives were the price.
