(Y/N)'s ruby red eyes stared directly into a pair of heterochromatic eyes, the boy's burn covering one side. Her expression shifted, going from satisfied to cold and unmoving. The dual colored boy's expression reflecting her own. For a moment they stood there together, facing one another with relentless glares before (Y/N) let out a breath she had been holding in and began to move past him.

"What are you doing here?" The stoic boy asked, the tone of his voice sharp and hate filled.

"Does it matter?" She retorted shortly as her head unconsciously shifted downwards to the floor. She hadn't even made it a meter past him before he interrupted her. "Does any of it matter to you?"

The room grew cold at her words, metaphorically and literally. Subconsciously she activated her quirk, gathering the heat from the hallway she was in as she tried to hold in her emotions. All the while, Todoroki's right side had chilled over. His lips pulled into a tight line, dual colored eyes narrowing and shining with frustration. Only she could put him to this point so easily.

His breathing began to grow strained and she held her breath. "He sent you here, didn't he?" he spat out with venom.

"If he did, I wouldn't have even bothered." She muttered in return, her head slowly rising up again- staring at the ceiling this time. "Don't you have any faith in me Shou-kun? Did you ever?"

He snapped, "Don't speak to me about faith- you lost that privilege years ago." He said, just bordering a shout.

"You act as if it was a privilege that was bestowed- and at what cost?" Her voice growing louder.

"Cost? You want to talk about cost?- Touya!"

"And what could I have done!? We were children then- neither of us could have done shit!"

"You could have stayed." He finalized, his gaze falling away as she turned around to face him.

"As if I had a choice." And with those words she left, pivoting her foot and making her way to her dorm room, tears pricking the corner of her eyes.

She slammed the door behind her and flopped onto the bed, curling up into a ball as she willed away her oncoming tears, unbeknownst to that a certain explosive blonde had overheard their conversation.
