"Alright I'll be brief." Gran Torino said as he threw a stack of papers on the table. "We're looking for Kurogiri, the League of Villains' escape route. If we can catch him then we can cut them off from escaping every time they show up."
"As most of you should know this is to keep on the down-low. You are not to speak of this mission to anyone who is not inside this room as of right now." Tsukauchi stated as everyone got a good look at the rest of the members of the group. "We don't want any hint going to the League of Villains. As of now we know that Kurogiri remains near one of the south mountains. We will be discussing the plan to capture him and the date of which this is happening."
A hand rose in the midst of the crowd.
"Yes?" Gran Torino said as his eyes narrowed towards the stealth hero in front of them.
"If I understand this correctly, we are on a mission that requires near perfect ordinance. Yet, there is a child amongst our ranks? What would they have to do with this mission?" He asked as all eyes fell upon the ruby eyed, (H/C)ette girl.
(Y/N) looked directly at her accuser, unfazed behind her costume's red visor. Her eyes were unseen but they held rage and a fire was ablaze in her mind. This wasn't the first time this happened to her. She had been underestimated several times and the looks she had gained when she proved her worth were priceless, but now she had a missing factor. Whenever this would happen, her father would smile and say something witty but professional, grasping her shoulder to signal to her to keep her temper in check. Now he was absent and it took all of her willpower not to set the place on fire.
That was until she smiled at the stealth hero before she spoke for herself. "I take full responsibility of any of my actions on the field. I'm sure you can understand that if I wasn't capable then I wouldn't be here in the first place." She said calmly.
"Well now that's settled, is there any other useless objections anyone would like to make?" Gran Torino said with an irritated expression. "No? Good, lets get down to business."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the stress filled mission debriefing she needed a break, the stealth hero who objected her presence made sure that she knew who was superior. Of course she had to learn his name, Shinobi. As far as she knew, he was weak willed but quick on his feet. Though since he was a stealth hero, he lacked the fire power, which she in turn had to make up for.
She let out a frustrated growl, this was not how she wanted to spend her Friday afternoon. She walked towards the dorm rooms in her civilian clothing and held down the urge to kick down the door. She stomped up to her room and threw her belongings onto her bed before quickly changing into an exercise uniform. She needed to vent, and she needed it now.
She rushed downstairs and out the door without a word, her classmates simply staring at her as they watched her go. She arrived at gym Gamma that she let out a frustrated yell before she began to let herself go.
This was her bad habit. She would keep herself composed for as long as she could, and the moment she was able to, she let it all go at once. This was something that was inherited just as much as her quirk.
As soon as she was in Gym Gamma, she took a deep breath and discarded her belongings, shoving them too the side before she let out an anger filled yell. Flames burst from her fire-proof exercising clothes and she scorched the floor of which she was standing on. Slowly she threw random attacks at the rocky structures in front of her and they deteriorated easily from the high temperatures. She wasn't holding back now, her flames were turned up to 11 and the attack strength was enough to knock her back. Honestly she couldn't hold back now, she didn't have control anymore.
It was after she let out her initial strength that she began to calm down and start evaluating why she was angry. She kicked and punched at the cement in front of her with an angry expression. Her bandaged hands made constant and patterned contact with the solid wall and she muttered to herself.
"Why does this happen every time? And this time he had the audacity to fuckin call me out..." She muttered, putting a little more power behind her punch. "Oh he is so lucky that I don't have permission to kick his ass or I would publicly humiliate him!"
As her fuming continued she still failed to notice the blonde figure standing behind her at the doorway to the gym. He watched amusedly as she continued to take her anger out on the rocky walls. Even if her final rage attack did make him doubt himself. Hell, if she really tried she could've probably killed him. Bakugo stepped up onto the main floor of Gym Gamma when she finally stopped using her quirk to punch the structures in front of her. He casually walked over to her, his hands stuffed into his pockets as he put a hand on her shoulder. She jumped at his sudden appearance from behind her, and she nearly punched him in the face if he hadn't narrowly dodged the attack.
"Holy shit- I'm so sorry Bakugo! Jesus Christ, don't sneak up on me like that!" She said as she slowly came to realization. "Wait how long have you been standing there?" She asked with sweat dripping down her face.
"Around the time you started talking to yourself dumbass." He said in a calmer, but annoyed tone as he rolled his eyes.
There was an awkward silence for a good 5 minutes between the two of them, both of them looking at the floor bellow them before Bakugo spoke up again.
"I'm gonna spar with you, got it shitty-flames?" He said sharply.
"What?" She asked, her head whipping up to look him in the eyes, only to find that he was completely avoiding eye contact.
"I said I'm gonna fucking spar with you, dumbass! Are you deaf!?" He snapped back as he walked past (Y/N).
There was a pause in her mind, a moment she took to register that Bakugo Kastuki had just offered to spar with her, and after that a grin broke out on her face.
"Alright hold up, wait for me!" She shouted back, running after him as he walked towards the middle of the gym, arms crossed over his chest.
"I'm not gonna wait forever, shitty-flames." He said, a condescending grin on his face.
And it was then when they began their nightly sparring sessions with one another, going in circles with their contradicting quirks.
