Brave

You were a book lover. If anyone will say a book nerd the person is right. Today also you were returning from the library with a old book  from 1940's. Y/f/n (your friend name) recommended it to you.  So here you were returning from the library to your home . You were walking on the busy streets of New York when suddenly a group of aliens came through a small portal in the sky and started attacking the people. Everyone  ran here and there. You were helpless and confused.  So you also ran with them to a safe place. You saw five people in superhero suits were fighting them . One of them was iron man. Of course you knew because Tony stark showed off a lot in front of the media. There were three more people whom you didn't know. Then your eyes caught on cap  . Of course you  know him . You are always used to going to the museum and also a big fan of him. You were snapped out from your realisation by an chitauri who was going to attack you. You were not a chicken who will run for its life . So you decided to beat him with your book . When it came near and near you started yelling at him and beating him on his head with the book.

Steve's P.O.V

We were fighting with the chitauri when I heard someone shouting.  I saw that a beautiful girl was trying to beat a chitauri.  She was telling,"With the power of knowledge" thwack "I will fight you."thwack . At last the chitauri became unconscious.  I was impressed with her bravery.

Two months later

Reader's P.O.V

I was sitting in the Starbucks reading a book from 1940's taking a sip of my coffee when suddenly I heard a voice.
"Mam, can I seat here as there is no place vacant?" He said. I looked at him and you recognised that he was the one and only captain America also known as Steve Rogers.  He was looking so good. I mean he is so handsome. "Yes sure. " you replied. He   was sitting with me chatting. Suddenly something striked his mind and he said,"wait you are that lady who beat that chitauri with a book right?" "Yes".
"So what's your name?"
"Y/n Y/l/n."
"Such a beautiful name."
"Thanks"
"Y/n nice to meet you I am Steve Rogers."
"It's a pleasure to meet you captain. "
He was surprised.
"Wait . You knew who I was but still didn't react?"
"I thought that you will be not happy with that because the whole world knows captain America but never try to know about Steve Rogers. "
"I am impressed. Well it seems like you like to read book. Which book is this?"
"It's a romantic novel from 1940's."
"Oh I know this book. Actually I started the book but never got to finish it because I froze in the ice for about 70 yrs."
"Then seems like we will read it together."
His face lit up . You smiled at him and saw your watch.
"Oh no I think I should go. It was so nice to meet you Steve. "
"Wait can I have your number?"
" Oh yeah. Just wait a minute." You wrote your number on a piece of paper and gave it to him. You kissed his cheek and waved him a final goodbye. 

Later at home you got a call from him. 
After that incident you two became great friends and he even asked you for a date. If you weren't a brave girl and would have ran from that situation you could have never met such a wonderful man. You were grateful to God for everything he gave you.  You were thinking about this sitting on your bed looking at your sleeping boyfriend of 8 months. He is such a adorable dorito.
