Chapter Seventeen

The dancing went on all night and then dinner was served. The three of us went back to the table and sat down, us laughing, though Anjali seemed surprised seeing Arnav laugh. We all ate dinner, regained our energy, and then after our drinks, we went right back to dancing.

And then the night ended. To be honest, I thought I wasn't going to have a nice time, but tonight turned out great.

"It was nice to meet you," Anjali said as she hugged me.

"Same here," I said.

"I hope we meet again?"

We both looked at Arnav.

"Why not," Arnav said.

I smiled and looked at Anjali. "I look forward to it."

Anjali smiled and hugged me again.

Arnav took my hand and we were about to leave, when I saw Arhat. He came our way and I smiled lightly at him.

"It was a pleasure to meet you," Arhat said.

"Pleasure as well."

Arnav didn't say anything and I noticed Arhat glance at him. I get the feeling there's something between them, but I think it's better if I don't say anything.

With that, we left. As we walked to the door, I noticed Kaushali and Kalavati talking to each other. They glanced at me, and I quickly looked away.

We came out and saw Nigel waiting for us. He opened the door for me and I got inside, Arnav going around and coming in. Nigel pulled away and Arnav sighed.

"Enjoyed yourself," he asked.

I grinned. "You bet."

He smiled and took my hand and kissed my knuckles.

I watched the road as we drove, not even realizing when I fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw Arnav picking me up.

"Arnav?"

"Shh, babe. We're home."

Hmm... home. If me and him had a home together.

I realized we were at the CitySpire and I didn't say anything. It's not a problem spending the night here. I still have clothes here from last time :3

When we arrived, Arnav led me inside and went to the private elevator and went upstairs to his room. Placing me down, I felt like going to bed. I began to walk towards the bed, but Arnav stopped me.

"Wash up first," Arnav said.

I shook my head lazily. "No."

"Khushi," he admonished. "Wash up first."

"I'm tired," I whined, and started to walk towards the bed again.

But Arnav stopped me. "Khushi, wash up first babe."

"Bed," I pouted.

Arnav tucked my hair behind my ear. "We will go to bed eventually baby " Arnav said, as he circled his thumb on my cheek. "But you need to wash up first."

I sighed and then nodded. I went to the bathroom and I slowly removed my makeup. With all the gunk removed, I washed my face and then came back out.

Arnav was putting his phone charge and then turned to look at me. Damn, this man looks sexy in a sherwani! And then all of a sudden, I'm not tired anymore and desire has bloomed in my belly. Arnav came over to me and pulled me towards him.

"Checking me out again, I see," he said hoarsely.

"I can't help myself," I whispered.

Arnav moved his hand from my waist to my belly. He moved his hands underneath the fabric and I loved the warmth I felt from his hands.
