Holding onto Arnav's hand, Khushi followed beside him.
"Where are we going," Khushi asked.
"To a place that once upon a time was home," Arnav replied.
What? "Home? Here? In the middle of nowhere?"
"We're not exactly nowhere, you know," Arnav grinned.
"Somewhere along the border of Brooklyn and Queens - so?"
"You'll see."
They walked a bit more and Khushi analyzed the area. There was no one here, the place totally run down.
Why on earth would Arnav come to an area like this, Khushi wondered.
Arnav led her to a building, going through the alley to go to the back. He pulled out a key from his pocket, inserted it into the panel on the side to unlock it, removed the key, and pulled up the metal garage door. He brought them in, then shut it behind him, inserting the key in the panel inside to lock the door.
"Um, Arnav... what exactly is this place," Khushi asked, looking at the dirty, bare garage.
Arnav walked forward, Khushi following behind. Khushi noticed the dirt on the floor and wondered why it wasn't cemented. Before she could ask, Arnav stopped and so did she. Khushi looked around curiously, wondering why they stopped in this specific spot. Just as the thought escaped her mind, Arnav stomped once. While Khushi looked at him oddly, he stomped once more again, then twice, then three times and stopped.
"Um...?"
Khushi was completely confused and was about to ask why Arnav did that, when the dirt on the ground began to move back.
"What the," Khushi squeaked.
Arnav couldn't help himself but to grin as the patch of dirt continued to move.
A hole on the ground began to appear, revealing a burly man and stairs.
"Mr. Raizada, long time no see, " the man said.
Khushi looked at the two in confusion. He knows Arnav, she wondered. How?
"How's things been going Russell, " Arnav asked.
"Things have been going well."
"How's your wife doing? And Sammy? "
"All my ladies are doing well, Sir. How's your lady doing? I'm guessing that's her."
Arnav wrapped his arm around Khushi's waist. "She is, and she's so much more. "
Khushi blushed.
"So I had heard, but I couldn't believe it till I saw with my own two eyes."
That made Khushi feel somewhat uneasy.
"Anyways, I'll let you in now Sir. Enjoy," Russell grinned.
He stepped out of the way and Arnav led Khushi down the stairs. Once they came down, Arnav led Khushi down the single hallway. Khushi glanced back and saw that Russell had come down and that the secret entrance had been shut by the flick of a switch.
Khushi turned back around and continued to follow Arnav. At the end of the hall, there were velvet black curtains. They went through them, entering a small room. Up ahead there were double doors, and there was the slight sound of music coming from behind it. The room was basically bare, a few paintings hanging on the wall.
Khushi looked at the desk sitting by the doorway and widened her eyes at the sight of a naked woman sitting on a naked man's lap.
"Alex, you'll never change," Arnav sighed, shaking his head in disapproval, his hand on his forehead
