Hey guys! So Peridot finally comes onto the scene!!! I love her; shes' so crazy and funny once she becomes converted to earth. XD But at first, she used to intimidate me. Anyway, here's the new chapter!!! :D

-Luna's POV-

"Another successful mission," I said, triumphantly.

"Yeah," said Circo. "But....is Steven okay?"

We both looked at Steven, as both of us, and Garnet walked out into the flower meadow. Steven had been sniffling since we got here and sneezing as well. I placed a hand on his shoulder, and asked, "Are you okay Steven?"

"Yeah," he said, sniffling. "I think the flowers are making me-" Just then, he sneezed and Garnet happened to be in the splash zone of Steven's sneeze. His snot got on her hip and she looked at it, her face emotionless.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"I'll live," she said.

Circo walked back to the warp pad and I followed. "Hear anything from Lapis?" he asked.

I flinched, but shook my head. "No. Gems don't sleep. Only reason why I was able to communicate with her was because she was in the same place as I was. But now she's probably in another solar system...."

He placed a hand on my shoulder and said, "I'm sure you'll figure something out."

I smiled, just as the rest of the group stepped onto the warp pad. We warped and Steven started to sniffle again, getting ready to sneeze. I started to pull a tissue out of my pocket. But Steven sneezed and his shot hit me in the eyes.

"AHH!" I yelled, stumbling back and stepping out of the warp stream. I wiped the stuff out of my eyes and looked, my jaw dropping. The outside of the warp stream looked amazing. There were other streams we were passing by. One caught my attention. There was a small object being sent through one.

"What is-" I started to say. But then, I felt somebody grab my hand and was pulled back into the warp stream. Circo, Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet were looking at me with concerned looks. "you need to be careful with the warp stream," Pearl said. "the air is thin and it's very cold."

"But the cold doesn't bother me," I protested.

"You may not feel it, but it does effect your body. That's why you need to be careful."

"But guys!" Steven said, sounding like he was starting a conversation that was previously stopped. "I did see something!"

"You saw it too?!" I asked, looking at Steven.

"Not you too," said Pearl. Garnet then said, "Like I told Steven, there's nothing out there. there hasn't been for a long, long time."

I looked at Steven. We both had the same thought; we did see something.

-Time Skip!-

I was lying on my back, on the sand, staring up at the stars. I couldn't sleep, and my mind was racing with thoughts. What was that thing in the warp stream? Where did it come from? Did it come from Lapis? I quickly sat up, a thought coming into my head. "What if that was from Lapis?" I mumbled.

I looked back up at the stars and closed my eyes. 'Lapis,' I thought. 'If you can hear me, please respond.'

Nothing. I opened my eyes and fought back the frustrated tears. I curled my hands into fists and noticed that the water at the shore was building up. I released my fists and the water returned back into the ocean. I sighed and fell back onto the sand.

"Lapis," I said, feeling the tears building up. "What's going on? Why won't anybody tell me what's happening?" My question was left unanswered as I fell asleep on the sand.
