I'm back, and I'm alive!!!

Several days passed, and Seulgi was quite comfortable with her new place. She laid half down in bed, killing time with her phone as the rest of the building was supposedly asleep. Feeling a presence in the room, she looked up to the door. "Oh, Haechan..." she smiled at the boy, who stood shaking, hugging his pillow, and a distraught look on his face. "What's the matter?" she asked noticing his appearance. He slowly walked in and sat next to her.

"Please don't laugh at me, but..." he choked. "I had a nightmare, and I can't sleep. I couldn't tell the others because... I'm afraid they'll laugh at me." he said looking down at his penguin socks. Seulgi looked at him with adoration, and spread her arms open.

"Come here." she motioned him, and hugged him tight, his head against her shoulder. "What did you dream of?"

"The AIS came and took everyone away, even me. My mum... She killed herself because she was mad for failing to protect me. Then they took you and Taeyong, and you guys..." he couldn't finish his sentence as his tears started, and he choked on his words. "and..."

"Shh..." she cut him off. "It's fine, you don't have to say it. Forget about it, alright." she assured him, stroking his hair.

"Thanks for listening." he hugged her. "I can never say these to the guys because they'll make fun of me."

"I'm sure they won't. They're like your family, aren't they? So they would never make fun of you. I promise."

They sat in silence, and Haechan slowly leaned down, his head on her lap. "Seulgi... Will you stay with us forever?" he suddenly asked.

"Why?"

"Because... I really like you. Don't get me wrong. I meant like, as a, you know, sister. I just like having you around. It's only been a few days, but I'm already so comfortable with you more than I was with the guys."

Seulgi pet his head as she thought. It's true as to what he had said. The place seemed much better now than when she first came. But she wondered if she really would stay here for forever. She hasn't seen Heechul since she came, and Baekhyun was barely ever around. Most of her time here the past month was spent with these people, except for Taeyong. Even Jaehyun was slowly getting closer to her.

But was this really the life she wanted? Living in secret with these men. She wanted to start her own life at some point, like having her own career, her own home, her own family.

She looked down to see Haechan asleep, his head on her lap still hugging the pillow, and smiled. She laid back herself, and thought about what would happen if she stayed, and if she left.

Maybe I can join them at what they work... she looked at the sleeping boy as she thought. They're not bad, they're better than what I thought, much better...

"What is this!?!" Seulgi woke up dazed as she heard the yell, rubbing her eyes and looking around blur. "Oh, hey Baekhyun." she sleepily greeted her brother, who had a strange look on his face.

"Why is this one here?" he questioned out loud, pointing to her lap. Seulgi quickly covered one of Haechan's ears, shushing Baekhyun with the other.

"Shh..." she hissed. "He had a nightmare, so came down because he was afraid to tell the others. Don't be noisy." she scolded 

"Whatever." Baekhyun sighed. "I'm going to work, so stay here. I heard they're going to be busier than usual." he informed her with a strict look on his face. Seulgi observed him, then rolled her eyes lying back down.

"It's not like I do much here anyways." she retorted. She looked away, and heard him sigh again before leaving the room. She looked back up, and pouted, slightly upset. As she sat back up, she felt the boy fidget, and chuckled when he whined. "Haechan..." she shook him lightly and cooed, "Haechan, wake up."

One eye opened and he squinted at the light, then slowly got up, processing the situation. "Oh," he exclaimed when he found out he slept on her lap, "sorry." he apologised shyly, making her chuckle.

"It's alright. Had a good sleep?" she asked petting him, and he nodded. "Good. Let's go make breakfast." she stood up holding his hand. He nodded cutely and followed her downstairs, humming happily on the way.

They reached the ground floor, and were about to step into the kitchen, when Seulgi realised the presence of other people in the kitchen. She made a strange noise out of confusion, causing whoever was in the kitchen to turn to her.

"Surprise!" Jungwoo and Winwin's voices echoed around the hall as Mark ran to Seulgi and pulled her in. She stood still at the table, confusion not leaving her mind. "Ta-da!" Mark cheered as he pulled the cover off the table, revealing several breakfast dishes, shocking the lady even more.

"What is all this!?!" she asked aloud as Mark pushed her into her seat.

"You always cook for us," Johnny said stepping forward, "so we decided to treat you today instead." he placing cutlery and plates for her, then themselves.

"Oh my God!" Seulgi exclaimed eyeing the food, "Thank you guys!"

Before any other food could be touched, Taeil quickly plated something for her. "Here, Jaehyun made these pancakes!" he said. Seulgi turned to the said man with glistening eyes, who shyly looked down, trying to hide behind Winwin. She chuckled at his behaviour, glad it was finally getting better, and cut out an entire piece, shoving it into her mouth, then shocked by the taste.

"Hey, they're good! Great job Jaehyun! Guys you should eat too, or you'll be late for work." she instructed, motioning everyone to sit. Of course they listened and dug in, but couldn't help think of her oblivion.

Why would they take time to cook on a work day?
