The sun rays shined through the curtains, making his eyes squint in their closed position, his face showing discomfort. Slowly, Taeyong decided to just wake up, and sat up on the bed, looking around the dim room. He knew what happened, he knew what will happen, and he knew he deserved none of it. Looking to the other side of the bed, he gazed at the lady who laid asleep hugging the blanket to her body for warmth, when just moments ago it was his body instead. He looked away, guilt and agony all over his face, when the blanket suddenly shifted.

"Taeyong..." he turned to see her eyes half open, staring at him softly. Taeyong simply stared back at her, then looked away again. Seulgi slowly got up, holding the blanket to her chest, and sat next to him, trying to look at his face. "Taeyong, really, what's wrong?"

"Seulgi, I..." he stammered, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for taking you away from your family. I'm sorry for wanting to use you. I... I'm sorry for ruining your life this way." he spoke through his broken voice.

"Why Taeyong?" she asked again. "What did you do that my life's ruined?"

"You... You could have continued living normally, but now because of me, you have to live in hiding. I took you in for my own greed for freedom, but instead, I fell for you, and..."

"Taeyong. Stop." she cut him off, holding his shoulder, "I know you meant to use me to show people that you aren't a danger, if I was able to live normally. I know everything, because it was quite obvious. But, you still saved me, at a time when no one would have dared to. And that's all that matters to me. To know someone else cared for me enough to risk their life for mine."

Taeyong looked up at her, seeing her smiling at him. And finally, after what felt like years to him, Taeyong gave a sudden loving smile. Not a smirk like he did to her before, not the brotherly smiles he gave his members before, and not the ones he gave society whenever he felt like challenging them.

Seulgi felt contented seeing him smile. After having heard everything about him, she felt proud that she was the one to make him smile like that after years. She reached out her hand and held his jaw, her thumb rubbing his cheek, and leaned forward, lightly kissing his lips. She pulled away and smiled gazing at him, his smile never leaving his face.

After their lovely gazings, she rested her head on his shoulder. Taeyong pulled his hand out around her body as her arms held around his. He laid back, with half her body on top of his, and cuddled.

"Taeyong." she suddenly called after a long silence, her finger drawing circles on his chest. "You didn't ruin my life. You only made it more meaningful."

"How?" he asked softly, his thumb rubbing her shoulder.

"All these years I've had to hide from society. I had no friends, no comfort place, nothing except my brothers. I always thought I'd just be better off dead if I had to live like that for the rest of my life. But now, I have friends, I have a comfort place, and I have you." she looked to him smiling as he looked at her confused.

"I know I have to live on because I have you to take care of. I always thought I would die with no sort of accomplishment. But with you, I feel accomplished, that I made your, and the others, lives better." she looked up at him again once done, and they held eye contact for some time before she cuddled into his embrace again. Taeyong's head rested in the crook of her neck as they hugged, and he kept thinking, accidentally saying his thoughts out loud.

"What did I do to deserve someone like you, Seulgi?"

"Exist." she replied. "Your existence, your determination, and the love you had for the other guys. You deserve something more Taeyong. I'm nothing compared to all you deserve. You deserve everything you ever wanted."

"You're all I want now." he spoke, realising his true feelings after what everyone said last night. "I don't want the freedom normal people get. I just want to live on with you. You're more meaningful than having stupid rights to vote, work and other things. Who would want that anymore when we clearly know that the Government is useless?" his words made her chuckle.

He suddenly started kissing her neck. "Seulgi..." he whispered once reaching her ear, "I love you too." and she smiled. "But, why do you? And since when?" he asked.

"Since I started realising that wasn't the real you. I figured, after hearing everything about you, that you were the perfect man. You just needed help to show it." she touched his cheek smiling, and moved closer giving him a peck on the nose. "Even after what you told me, I knew you were a nice person inside. You saving me so heroically was the bonus." she chuckled, before they cuddled into each other's embrace again.
