I awoke in a cold sweat from my nightmare. It had already been a week since I had started Ellisen. My first day was crazy, my first class of music theory had a teacher who's students were infatuated with him. Second class was music studio class which made me feel stupid, I had never seen so many students. There was no end to the stares and whispers of students around me. I was like the main event, everyone wanted to know who the new girl was. I thought quietly in my bed as I sat with my knee's folded to my chest, why was I so interesting? I mean yes I wore a lot of dark color's and I had hip length raven black hair, but it's not like I was this beautiful creature. Some of the people here easily put model's to shame. Maria was one of those people, she was tall, pale, and had the most perfect golden blonde hair I had ever seen.

I let out a huff as I fell back onto my pillow, why in the world was I having nightmares? The nightmare kept echoing through my mind, a man with golden eye's shifted into a wolf and ripped Maria and Elliot apart before running at me with a feral snarl. I tried to run but to no avail, he dug his claws in my back and I let out a peircing scream and the word why kept creeping from my lips. That was when I should have just closed my eye's and let myself die but no I looked up and the fangs came at me. My hand's flew up to the side's of my head and I let out a scream openly into my room. I couldn't help the tears nor could I reject the nausea that welled in my stomache. I heard Maria running through the conjoined bathroom before she swung open my door and jumped to my side. I felt her arm's around me in an instant before I realized I was balling my eye's out in my roomates arem's at 2:30 in the morning.

"My goddess Darcy are you alright?" I looked at Maria with soaked eyes and shook my head softly "A nightmare...." Maria's eye's went solid before she patted my back and let out a sigh. I looked at Maria's outfit, pink of course, a pink satin teddy and her satin pink sleep mask. Maria only smiled sleepily and patted my head "Are you alright now Darcy?" I nodded and wiped my eye's with the back of my hand "Thanks Maria" she stood and nodded before leaving me alone in my room.

Waking up at 8:00 was harder than I had really expected it to be considering I had just torn myself from the comforting sheets of my bed to the hallways of Ellisen. I had combed my hair and put a little make-up on but honestly nothing could fix the bags under my eyes. Maria walked me to my first class before she left for her dance classes across campus. I stepped into the crowed classroom and spared myself embarrassment by putting my head down and walking to my newfound seat in the back. I thought about the lesson but honestly I knew I wasn't up for the challenge today. My group just starred at me before they did the assinment themselves. I tried my hardest not to fall asleep but when I felt a cold hand planted firmly on my shoulder I knew I had failed. I looked up through sleepy eye's to my professor, his eye's were soft but I could tell he was irritated.

"Miss Rowe, I see no reason you should be sleeping during this class nor letting your group do your part." I nodded and agreed. He nodded and left me to tend to another sleeping student. I scooted forward and looked at the people of my group they all had the same blue eye's as Maria and Elliot, is it something in the water? I smiled sleepily and grabbed my paper "sorry....not enough sleep".

"That's what your bed is for, stupid humans" a girl who I had come to know as Amy mumbled angrily. I pretended to look at the paper while the rest of the group starred her down coldly. She just smiled and flashed them her middle finger before excusing herself from the lesson and heading out the door.

"I really hate how that bitch acts when she can't handle a situation" I looked over to see one of my group memeber's speaking to me. I remembered that his name was Travis. He smiled and held out his hand to me, I took it hesitantly "I don't think i've introduced myself properly, my name is Thomas Monroe, but please call me Travis" he kissed my hand lightly and I shivered, why are his lips so cold? I smiled and pulled back my hand before speaking "My name is Darcy Rowe....Nice to meet you Travis". He smiled a brilliant white smile that would make others swoon, his brown hair was cut in a preppy skater style, covering one eye. His style was a t-shirt with a flannel button up open to show the band logo, his skinny jeans were tight and his shoes were chunky boots. He was a punk. Literally.

Class seemed to drag on forever as Travis led me through the chords and showed me the proper order in which I had just failed to put them in. His smile stayed plastered on his face through class. I couldn't help but be slightly attracted to this interesting male. It was then that I realized what I hadn't before, he was the boy the was not to happy on the first day I had arrived. The one who Elliot was obviously following when I had met them, I hadn't realized it before but they looked strikingly similar. Before I knew what I was doing I asked Travis the question that hung on my lips "Are you related to Elliot?" He was obviously caught off guard because his blue/white eye's searched my face."Uhhh....Ya Elliot is my cousin" He spoke quietly, it's almost as if he didn't want the others in the room to hear. I nodded and smiled before turning back to my paper, cousin's huh? Travis walked me to my next class and gave me his number just in case I wanted to hang out or something. I watched him walk away slightly anxious. I stepped into music studio and I swaer every girl in the room was glaring at me. I took my seat and let out a sigh, had I just made enemies?

Professor Adam's began our lesson with a loud clap, a clipboard was hanging from her neck and her smile hinted that she had something up her sleeve.

"Class today we will be having a vote on who will sing in the studio first, whoever is chosen will have to sing today." I shrunk back in my seat, don't get me wrong I love to sing in front of people but I wasn't prepared enough mentally for this. I sat straight, i'm the new girl they couldn't possibly choose me right now. We all scribbled down a name on notecards and handed them down to the professor while she looked them over. I heard snickers and could already tell some people had chosen me, had singled me out is a better way to put it. Professor Adam's looked up at me and smiled I felt my stomache turn, shit! 

"Darcy dear it looks like you've been chosen by the class to sing today" I nodded and stood up slowly feeling nauseous again.  "She probably can't even sing" A girl in the back snickered I felt the anger rise in me. Watch me bitch, I thought to myself.

I stood in the studio book and breathed softly to myself, the class waited as I did a breathing excersise first. I heard laughing and completley blocked out everyone but the Professor.

"OK Darcy sing a couple verses from your favorite song, it's fine if it's one of your own as well" I nodded and smiled before opening my mouth and singing the first four verses of my song Falling Dawn.

"It's like falling leaves in paradise, tears that stain the only things we have, we have...It's like deathly noise against the wind, sudden bursts of untamed sin, it's all we are....You never know who you really are, until your light becomes a star, shining alone in the darkness, It's like Falling Dawn against the clouds, hateful doubt becomes your own anthem,...anthem..." I couldn't hear anything, was that a good thing? I opened my eyes and was astonished to see everyone completly shocked. I smiled my brightest smile and removed the headphones before I finally heard the noise I knew I would dread, snickering girls, jealous and spiteful now becomeing my enemy.

A/N: Hey guys so I think this is the longest chapter yet but i'm not a hundered percent. I should have the next chapter up by tomorrow hopefully! So how do you like our new character Travis (Real Name:Thomas)? Can you believe Elliot and him are cousins! Also I should post the song up, it is my original lyrics and I will be singing it so please listen to it along with reading that part.
