We all sat around on the furniture quietly, trying to make sense of everything was starting to get tiring. Maria's usual smiling face was even troubled with all the chaos. I watched Lee closely; he was rubbing his hands together anxiously while keeping his eyes closed. Travis had briefly explained that he was going to get Elliot and that we, nor Lee could say anything important to one another. I looked him up and down with a curious face; even I should have realized no human could be so flawless. I let out an exasperated sigh and felt the exhaustion coming through; I was really going to come to a breaking point soon if I wasn't careful.

Travis stormed through the door along with a furious Elliot, his eyes were almost white and his expression was easy to read. Maria stood and bowed her head with an odd expression capturing her features. I looked at everyone confused before Lee tapped my shoulder and smiled softly.

"I can't do that if that helps make me look less guilty" I threw his a confused frown and he only smiled with sincere eye's. There was no way in hell that Lee was a bad guy, was there? Maria's touch broke me out of my stare with Lee. I let out a soft sigh and new the interrogation was on.

"Who the hell are you and why are you here in Ellisen?!" Elliot yelled loudly at Lee's face. Lee only smirked and looked behind Elliot to me.

"I only have one person that I’ll answer to and she's behind you" my eyes widened and Elliot grunted stepping out of my way to sit next to Travis on the love seat. I breathed a slow sigh and looked into Lee's eyes, he only smiled at me.

"Ok who are you and why are you here in Ellisen" I repeated Elliot's question.

"My name is Hanley Rochester White, Lee as you know, and I am here strictly to protect you Darcy." Again my face became confused, I was lost. Maria's elbowed me to go on and I looked at her with a soft smile.

"Ok better question" I said and turned my head to face Lee "Why are you protecting me and what from?" He smiled softly and leaned forward closing his eyes.

"I was given an order by the high counsel to protect you, your father used to work for the high counsel as a guard." He sighed and opened his eyes staring into my own. "The counsel told us that after your father killed one of our kind he went crazy, killing your mother and almost you as well. What they didn't expect was that one of our own would be looking for revenge. Your father had killed her lover; his name was William Yates, hers....." He paused and once again closed his eyes letting out a mournful sigh before opening his eye's hesitantly. "Her name... is Amber White...She's my twin sister, and hatefully enough the one I’m protecting you from....After William was killed by your father for trying to kill one of the council member's, Amber went mad and was bent on revenge." He sighed once again and I could tell this was hard for him. "She found out about you and her revenge was planned, she went after you at your house but thankfully you had come here to Ellisen before she could even remotely touch you. That's why I’m here...because not only am I your new body guard but I am also your attackers twin brother....I’m the only one who can stop her." He smiled at me and let out another soft sigh before standing and pacing in place. "Amber isn't an ordinary hybrid, usually we are half human or werewolf, but still there aren't very many of us. Amber though, she's different than I, while I am still half human and have power she is more like a Nobel. William must have let her have his blood or something along those lines because she's more lethal and requires more blood than most hybrids’." He stopped and looked at Elliot curiously before once again pacing back and forth. Maria spoke up then, her voice filled with an unidentifiable emotion.
