"So how's the late shifts been going?"
Hoseok cares to ask me.

I laid my head on the counter with tiredness. "Boring. All I want to do is sleep."

"Well it's only boring because you're not trying to have fun," he said with a cheeky smile. "Why don't you try thinking positive?"

I huffed in response.

He was right, but how was I suppose to have fun in the middle of the night if all I want to do is sleep?

It's been a few days since I started and Hoseok wanted to have lunch with me. He's been busy lately with his dance studio and it's been awhile since I last saw him.

It was nice to have burgers with him, but it was also nice that he was paying.

"I would think positive, but everytime I'm at work, all I can think of is how comfortable my bed would be if I could sleep on it. I can practically hear it calling for me." I stared into the distance as I thought of that bed of mine.

The soft white sheets that would keep me warm and make me get away from the cold; the fluffy pillow that I could rest my head on; and the comfy mattress that never hurt my back every time I slept on it.

"You're drooling."

I snapped back into reality and whipped off the saliva on my bottom lip with one of the napkins given to us.

"Knowing you and your sleep, I don't understand why you chose a graveshift. Doesn't that ruin your sleeping schedule?" He leaned on his hand with concern while he took pieces of fries into his mouth.

I sat up before leaning back into my chair.

"The pay was high, and I was running low on funds," I care to tell him. "The other job I had was more of a hassle than this one. The pay was good, but the hours were longer, and there were obnoxious assholes.

"Wait, didn't you work at a bar?" He questions me.

"Yeah, I was janitor."

He gave me an odd look before munching more of his fries.

"What's with the look?" I eyed him.

"Nothing," he responded. "It's just- janitor? Why janitor? Why not be a DJ at a club or something? Don't you love music?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I tried applying, but they prefer middle age men who have experience from radio stations. And well, I ain't middle age, nor do I have a radio station."

"Why not get a job with the others then? Speaking of which, how are they doing?" He shook off the salt on his hands onto the tray before laying them down on the table.

I raised a brow. "Why are you asking me? Why don't you ask them? Last time I checked they seemed to be enjoying life."

Hoseok smiled with a shake of his head," Just curious. I don't have much time to speak to each one of them."

I made a face and regretted my previous words. "Sorry. I forgot how busy you are." I apologized.

Hoseok shook his hand at me. "It's alright. I'll be having vacation in a month or so. Until then, it's more choreography I have to make for the idols."

I smirked. It must be nice to make a living off of something you love doing.

"If I remember correctly," I try to think back of the others, "Seokjin is a chef for some restaurant. He works nearby, but he's always complaining whenever any of us visit him at work. 'Yah you pigs, these food are for the customers' he always tells us."
