◇ Y O O N G I ◇
"WHAT!?"
They all yelled at me in unison as if they didn't hear me the first time.
"Yah! I'm not gonna repeat myself! So don't bother asking!" I spat.
We were in Taehyung's apartment again and most of the crew was here, expect for Hoseok.
We were in the living room hanging around, doing our usual things. Namjoon and Seokjin arguing about stupid stuff, Jungkook was gaming with Taehyung watching beside him, and then there's Jimin and I.
He was talking about his day then he asked me about my night shift. Then it happened.
I regret talking.
The guys sat next to me with curious expressions like I was some kind of fucking creature.
"Jennie Kim," Jimin repeated the name I told him with wide eyes.
Following right after him, Jungkook paused his game to jump into the conversation.
"Wait, Jennie? As in Jennie Kim the one who sat next to you in class?" He asked with a perplexed look.
Taehyung pushed Jungkook out of his way to look at me. He wanted to get in on the topic as well.
"You're talking about Jennie? As in, thee Jennie Kim?" He repeated the name again with a different look compared to the latter.
He was surprised and full of interest.
They were closing in on me and all I wanted to do was hit them with a sack of rice.
"Yes! Now will you guys give me some space!? What the hell! Quit acting like fucktards." I scowled at them. "It's like you guys never talked about girls before. Aish."
"It's different when it's you talking!" Jimin pointed out.
I stared at him annoyed. This is why I don't talk about girls.
Namjoon snickered at me before speaking. "I remember Jennie. She always came to class with her hair in a ponytail. She was one of the prettiest girls in class and hella guys had a crush on her."
"I don't recall," I state.
Namjoon rolled his eyes at me. "You were the only one who didn't think she was pretty. All you did was snore in class while she did all note taking. It's a shame girls don't even exist to you. "
I glared at him before shifting my eyes away to the window. The raindrops dripped on the transparent screen before falling down.
The image of her drenched in rain came to mind. It was bothering me.
"How the hell do you guys remember her, but I don't?" I grumbled. It still didn't make any sense to me.
Seokjin scoffed. "Tch. You obviously don't remember her because you never paid attention to her! Maybe if you weren't so lazy and rude, you would have noticed her!"
I winced from his yelled and pulled away from his direction.
"Quit yelling. I get it. I get it. I'm an idiot. Are you happy now?" I swear these guys will always find something to hold against me.
"No," he spat. "You probably broke that girl's heart."
I scoffed. "Like that matters."
The fact that she put me in that position matters. She makes me feel like I'm the bad guy!
I didn't do anything wrong.
Jimin shook his head. "It does matter, Hyung. You said it yourself that you met her last night during your shift. She must have been awkward to see you."
