Blush

I can't believe it.

The slightest patch of a light pink color barely tinting his pale cheeks. Of course I know he fell for me before, that's what I had planned. I never thought Lloyd would still feel that way though. The green ninja is strong. He would never let anything move him. Lloyd is strong. I smile as I think. And cute— I stop myself from going any further. Did I just? No- I didn't. The pink color from Lloyd appears on me as well, and I feel my whole face getting warmer as I am pulled out of the massive pile of debris.

Still weak, and still blushing, I lay down face-first on top of a wooden board. Someone gently shakes my arm. I turn my head to see the white ninja, Zane, leaning over me.

"Is she alright?" Lloyd asks him

"She will live," Lloyd's face lights up at Zane's announcement. "But she is injured badly."

"Pix, where's the nearest hospital?" Lloyd asks.

"There are currently no active hospitals in Ninjago City," she states.

"Help me bring her to mom," Lloyd says, turning to Jay. Without another word, the blue and green ninja help me sit up on the wooden board. Blood was still trickling down my scarred leg and onto the wood, creating small puddles around my feet.

"Lloyd, M-my head," I say weakly.

"Just don't look at it," He responds. I follow his advice, staring at him instead. Slowly, I manage to stand up with some help from both ninja.

"Can she walk?" The blue one asks. In response, I take one wobbly step forward. I then lift my injured leg to step out, but a sudden, sharp pain runs up it, causing me to collapse and fall forward. Lloyd immediately reached out and catches me just in time.

"We have to get her to Misako soon," Kai states. All the ninja seen worried now. All except Nya, the water ninja, of course. She still hates me. I tell myself as another sharp pain races up my injured leg. I gasp in pain. Without closing my eyes, strange, dark patches appear. My vision becomes blurry and I feel more lightheaded than before. The dark patches spread until everything goes black.

Lloyd's POV

She can't even walk. We don't have any sort of vehicle either. She suddenly gasps, falling back. I catch her before she hits the ground, but she's already passed out.

"She's unconscious!" I shout.

"How are we supposed to get her to HQ!?" Jay says, freaking out.

"Jay, she's fine," Nya tells her boyfriend while rolling her eyes.

"No, Nya. She is not," I tell her sternly. She glares at me, and then at the unconscious girl.

"I notified Dareth and Misako," Pixal states. "They should be here soon." As if on cue, Misako drives up in a noodle truck.

"Skylor let us borrow it," she says simply.

"Thanks Mom," I pick up Rumi bridal style, carrying her to the truck.

"Awww, cute!" Jay says. Cole smirks at me.

"Not now, Jay," I ignore Cole's smirk though.

"Everyone get in!" Dareth shouts. I climb in the back with Rumi, followed by the other four ninja and Pixal.

"How is she?" Mom asks.

"She's unconscious now, and bleeding badly," I reply.

"Zane, can you drive us home?" Mom asks. Zane nods as he climbs up front, switching with Misako.

"I brought this just in case," she says, opening a first aid kit. While mom cleans and bandages her cuts, I whisper in her ear,

"No one can hurt you now."
