Forgiveness

3rd POV

Harumi sits in the exact same position, suddenly feeling sorry for Lloyd, despite the fact that he hurt her nearly as bad as she did. Finally gathering up her courage, she walks over to him.

"Hopefully you know I forgive you," she tells him. He looks up at her with a strange look. Almost as if he is unsure of what to say or do next.

"But the real question is," Harumi pauses, giving Lloyd her best 'I'm sorry' look. "Do you forgive me?"

Lloyd continues to stare at her and his eyes begin to fill with tears.

"Yes...I forgive you, Rumi," Lloyd sobs. "I should have said so sooner."

"Shhh..Lloyd it's alright," Harumi tells Lloyd, sitting next to him and placing her hand on his shoulder. "We both apologized and forgave each other, nothing is wrong anymore. But...umm, I guess I need to tell you something..."

Lloyd looks up at her, wiping his eyes on his sleeve. "Wh-what?" Harumi sighs.

"Wh-when I first saw you...I noticed you...were always...staring at me," Lloyd turns away to hide his red face. "Lloyd, I realized you felt...that way....and I uh, made some changes to my...plans..."

"What do you mean?" Lloyd asks with a confused expression.

"I wasn't going to use you at first..." Harumi tells him finally.

"Oh..." Lloyd looks away.

"Lloyd, I'm not finished yet...after everything, it was a little bit after I resurrected Garmadon, I...knew it wasn't right. I never got a chance to apologize before the building crash. What I'm trying to say is...I loved you too...." Harumi blushes as Lloyd's mouth falls open.

"Wh-What!?" Lloyd is stunned.

"I'm sorry, I should hav–" Harumi is cut off by Lloyd's finger over her mouth.

"Shh...it's okay now," Lloyd tells her. "I only ignored you like that because I thought you hated me." Lloyd uncovers her mouth. Harumi immediately springs up and jumps on top of Lloyd with a hug.

Lloyd is surprised by the suddenness, but he hugs back willingly. Lloyd sighs happily, and begins playing with her silky white hair.

"I'm glad we're like this now," Harumi whispers softly, her eyes slowly closing as she falls asleep on top of Lloyd.

"So am I..." Lloyd whispers, despite her already being asleep. Lloyd soon dozes off, still hugging Harumi.

Peeking out from behind the doorway, a certain master of Amber and the Samurai X smile and high five each other, glad that the couple was back together.
