Sweat pain
Tender sting of a razor blade
Crimson droplets on the ground
Slowly dripping, raining down
Physical representation of pain
Long sleeves to hide the shame
Bloodstains permanently in the sheets
While trying to forget and go to sleep
Scars that won't go away
Memories that never fade
Blood flowing from open veins
To be mindlessly rinsed down the drain
Addictive numbness, like a drug
Enveloped in a deadly love
Caught in it's tenderly fatal embrace
Broken heart begins to race
Face masked in bloody tears
What rushes away is all the fears
Bandage up the open cuts
For the night the pain is done
