I wake and something in the mirror
Catches me by surprise
Something strange, I haven't seen before
And I can't believe my eyes
I see an image of a room
That looks a lot like mine
But it's changed, like from a different place and time
The pictures all have fallen
And are scattered on the floor
The windows all are shattered
And the posters all are torn
The walls are dripping a deep crimson
And even though it's morning
It's black as night outside
In the room the dark is piercing
Then I see myself
But not myself at all
I wear a mask and have horns upon my head
And I jump as the mask falls
Two glowing red eyes and an evil smile
Stare through the mirror back at me
And I realize that this image
Is my twisted reality
