Violet Flowers

Hidden

Shadows lurking deep in my mind 

Pain and memories I chose to hide 

Dark corridors representing different fears 

Can't let them see my tears 

Bottle it up in a jar 

Who cares if ice becomes my heart 

They can never see 

 Just how broken they made me 

Muffle my cries and screams 

Maybe its all just bad dreams 

Try to wash the pain away 

Its hopeless when the scars will always stay 

Cover it all up so the can't see 

Lock it away so the only one who knows is me

Fake smiles on my face 

And just lie and say "I'm ok"
