Chapter 11

Anck-su-namun stood as she looked towards the path in front of her where Imhotep left to go to the Scorpion King. Jonathan came up behind her and coughed to get her attention.

"It's time someone taught you a lesson wench. Come on," Jonathan said as Anck-su-namun turned and started to walk over to him slowly. Jonathan was on his toes with his fist clenched as she walked down the steps to him. Without her noticing, Alex quietly took the book and took off.

"This is for my sister," Jonathan said as he was face with her but she scratched his face making him wince in pain.

Rick walked through the corridors as he heard numerous sounds of loud bangs coming from Imhotep. Rick saw Imhotep and silently but quickly jumped over the fire with an axe in hand. The next jump was not so silent as a loud bellow was made, making the room shake. The shaking and bellowing came to a stop and Rick lunged the axe towards Imhotep with he blocked. Rick tried to push Imhotep's weapon into the fire, which he did, but lost his weapon in the progress. So without hesitation, Rick threw a punch a Imhotep which made his lip bleed. Imhotep spoke in Arabic in which Rick did not understand a word. Imhotep made a roar like noise before he and Rick started to fight... Imhotep currently winning it.

"Is that all you've got?" Jonathan said after he got hit in the face before getting hit again... twice. Jonathan punched Anck-su-namun in the face, which he smiled at. Anck-su-namun walked over to one of the statues and drew out the two knives it was holding. Jonathan looked around trying to find something when he reached out and pulled out the golden stick that he kept.

"Hurry up Alex!" Jonathan yelled which made Anck-su-namun turn to try and see if she could find Alex. Jonathan went towards her and held up his sick but she quickly turned and blocked him.

"Uncle Jon! I don't know what this last symbol is," Alex yelled out.

"What does it look like?" Jonathan asked back while he was blocking Anck-su-namun.

"It's a bird! A stork!" Alex yelled back when Jonathan blocked one of her shots, making one of her knives fly out of her hand.

"I know that one! I know that one!" Jonathan yelled back before Anck-su-namun held him in a choke-hold.

"Than what is it?!" Alex yelled back. Jonathan fought off her as she held the other knife near him before he pushed her off and onto the ground. "Amenophus!" He yelled throwing his hands in the air before Anck-su-naum got up and started to choke-hold him again.

Lucy's POV

It was darkness. Darkness surrounded me before my eyes shot open, showing me light.

I sat up gasping as I held my stomach to feel the pain was gone. All was left was dried blood. I look around me and I see Alex with tears in his eyes.

"Mom?"

"Alex?" We both say at the same time. Immediately he ran to me and engulfed me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly as some tears escaped my eyes.

"What happened Alex?" I asked as I pull away from the hug.

"Well basically, you died and dad left to go fight the Scorpion King. Uncle Jon and I were waiting for him outside before he mentioned something about the book. Then he went to fight the lady while I brought you back to life." Alex said. I smiled at him before it faded.

"Where's your father now?" I asked him seriously.

"Still fighting the Scorpion King," he said trailing off a little.

"What about Jonathan?" I asked him as I stood up.

"Still fighting the lady," he replied as he stood up too.

"Alright let's go. Thank you Alex," I said giving him one last hug before we went off to help out Jonathan. Why is it when I die, everything happens?!

A chapter is published! Finally... 

Sorry for the late update, I was in hospital but now I'm out. I know it's short but you all wanted a chapter so I thought I would publish a small one. Please don't hate me... but thank you for your support and I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
