"I'm going to go get Mai if that's fine with you." I said to Blessing as she laid back in her seat. "Yeah that's okay" she replied lowly. "I have to go pick up your prescription as well" I said while turning the radio up. City Girls by YNW Melly blared out. I then began to drive.
I pulled over to a gas station and got gas and blessing some Ritz crackers and a Ginger Ale. I also grabbed some rellos and a bottle of water. I then got in the car after pumping the gas and pulled off towards Mai's house.
"Ouch" Blessing said grabbing her hip. "What's wrong?" I asked her as she squirmed around in her seat. "It hurts" she yelled out as she began to let tears pour down her face. "You want to go back to the hospital?" I asked beginning to grow concerned. I've never seen her in this much pain. "YES!" She screamed through short breaths. I quickly hit a U-turn and sped back in the opposite direction.
When we got there they put her on a stretcher and rushed her back. After running test the doctor came and told me that she had an Ovarian Cyst that had ruptured. I pulled my phone out and dialed Breyale's number.
"Hello?" She said into the phone once it had stopped ringing. "What you doing?" I asked in a rush to get to Blessing's room. "Nothing, Wassup?" She responded. "I'm at the hospital with Blessing can you contact the rest of her family and get down here? She's about to go into surgery and she's going to need us after this." I said in one breath waiting for the doors of the elevator to open. "I'm on my way" she said and with that she hung up. When the doors opened I proceeded to her room.
When I opened the door her eyes met mines. "Hey" I said closing the door behind me. "Hey" she said on the verge of letting her tears all fall.
