I woke up and began to start my day. I went to Mai's room and woke her up. I began to detangle her hair. When finished I got her dressed and sat her down in the living room to watch cocomelon. Today was part two of her birthday. Just Malik, Mai and I were going to the zoo. She'd been learning the different sounds of animals for a while now so we decided to make it happen .
I took a quick shower and got dressed in a jogging suit . Something basic. After snapping a couple of pics I grabbed a few snacks and we were out.

"Good morning goofy" Malik said lightly kissing my lips. "Good morning" I replied while continuing what I was doing. "After the Zoo I have to drop Mai off" he replied while grabbing the stroller. "Okay" I simply stated while heading to the car.
When we arrived at the Zoo Mai was ready. She didn't want to sit in the stroller she wanted to walk and hold her fathers hand. "ROAR" she pointed to the cage with the lions. I laughed and snapped a quick photo of them.

After looking at the animals it was time to get something to eat. While pushing Mai in her stroller, Lets get married began to play dancers began to walk down the pathway in front of us everyone moved to the sides to let them through. My chest began to beat rapidly, when it was all said and done Malik pulled out a microphone got down on one knee.
Tears immediately began to form I tried my best to hold them back. "Blessing Marie Stone , We've been through a whole lot together and I know that you're capable of holding me down for the rest of our lives. You look at Mai as if she's you're own and their is not another soul on this earth that I can picture myself with. Will you marry me?" For a quick moment my breath was taken away. I nodded my head yes and he slid my ring on my finger. After he gave me a big hug. This was the best day of my life.
Mercedes Pov
I contemplated my thoughts as I sat on the toilet waiting on the results to come back from this pregnancy test. What am I going to do ? Just as the result appeared there the doorbell rang. I quickly put the test in my back pocket and hurried to answer the door. "Hey mommy" Mai said hugging my leg. "Hi baby" I replied picking her up. "Thanks for dropping her off" I said to Malik as he gave me her bag. "No problem" he said in a rush. "Can we talk ?" I asked him he inhaled a big breath and then let it out.
"Yeah, Wassup?" He said taking a seat. I took the test out my back pocket and passed it to him. "What's this" He said while looking at it. "WhAtS ThIs" I replied mocking him. "Malik I'm pregnant" he began to wipe his head. "Is it mines?" He said not to sure. "I mean if it wasn't why would I tell you?" I replied while crossing my arms. "Mercedes I can't have children" He replied. " I just took the test, besides you had Mai." I said taking the test from him.
"Well text me I have to go" He replied and with that he left. "How was your day today punkin ?" I asked while taking her jacket off. "Roar!" She replied.
Malik's Pov
What the fuck did I get myself into, I thought while walking back to the car. "Everything okay ?" Blessing asked while I put my seatbelt on. "Yeah Mai just threw a fit that's all" I replied starting the car up. "It'll get easier" she reassured me while kissing my lips. I then rode off in the direction of our house.
"Malik do you remember that one time on the side of your grandmas house ?" She asked breaking the silence. I laughed a little "Yeah , that time I kissed you?" I replied while glancing over towards her. "You were my first kiss, I was only thirteen." She said smiling at the thought. "Malik I just want you to know that I'd never do nothing to mess what we got up. I actually do love you and I can't help, but to get nervous every time you are around me." "I love you to Blessing" I replied, and with that we finished our ride to our destination. How the fuck am I supposed to get myself out of this.
