Chapter 9: Witnessed

Tisha's POV

She's the one who ordered our food. Hindi na ako sumama dahil sa haba ng pila sa counter. I just get a vacant table for us to eat our food. I take a seat and waited for Keisha to bring our foods. Medyo naguguluhan parin ako sa mga kinikilos niya but maybe, I should put it aside.

I opened my phone to check for any notification. A text popped up as soon as I turned it on. Unregistered ang number na iyon.

Unknown:
Let's meet up later. Faculty office. 5 pm.

I frowned as I read the text.

To Unknown:
Sorry? Who is this?

Pagkatapos kong ma-send iyun ay hindi na ito nag-reply. I then presumed that it's just a wrong sent.

After a few minutes dumating si Keisha na dala ang tray na laman ng pagkain na inorder namin. Strawberry cheesecake and ice coffee for me and a pancake with chocolate syrup and a chocolate milk drink for her.

She put the tray on the table as she take a seat.

"Gosh! why is it so hot today?" Sabi niya habang pinapaypayan ang sarili gamit ang kanyang kamay. I just sighed and shake my head. I was about to get my food on the tray when a sudden throb of pain struck in my head.

Napahawak ako sa sentido ko. I gritted my teeth as I endured the pain but it just won't stop. My breathing became heavy as I catch my breath for air. Hindi ako makahinga.

How could I make this stop?

"Stop..." I breathed.

Keisha is looking at me with a puzzled expression plastered on her face.

"Tisha?"

I heaved a breath when the pain subsided.

"I'm fine." I said to her unsaid question. We remained quiet for few seconds.

"Let's eat." Sabi ko kalaunan.

Pagkatapos naming kumain ay nagpaalam ako para mag-banyo. She just nod her head and watched me go. Hindi niya ako sinamahan. I find it odd. Well, hindi ko naman sinabing samahan niya ako. But she usually do. I just shook my head to get rid of the thought.

Walang tao sa loob ng restroom. Dumiretso ako sa sink at naghugas ng kamay. My face looked so pale as I look myself in the mirror.
What is happening to me?

I suddenly felt a rush of mix emotions.

"Calm down. All you just need is to calm down." I said, looking at myself in the mirror while taking a breath. I'm still a little bit dazed because of that head ache. Bigla nalang tumulo ang dugo mula sa ilong ko. Napapikit ako nang bigla ulit sumakit ang ulo ko. I dropped on my knees as I grasped my hair. I could hear my heart palpitating in my ear loud and clear. My vision became blury. It felt like my world is spinning.

A vision suddenly appeared.

A castle was built in the middle of vast roses. I'm standing near the gate. I was wearing a black dress. The place suddenly changed. From the castle, everything went pitch black.

I could hear noises, when all of the sudden it became loud that I couldn't bear that I need to cover my ears.

"We need to get out of here!"

"The battle has begun, we're not capable of fighting back we need to go!"

I could feel the agony and despair.
