Venser put his hand on my shoulder and I felt the black hole and when looked around again we were standing in the ruins of the Iron forge, half the walls were missing and the entire roof had caved in on the furnaces, you could see the ogre cages from here and they had been destroyed, no sign of the ogre’s though, the fortress wall was still standing in some spots and the gate was broken outwards “why bring me back here?” Venser started walking towards the hallway “because I came back to see if it worked and I found something I could not move, and I want to check behind it” I sighed “you could have asked someone else” Venser sighed “you will understand when you see” I sighed and followed him through the wreckage, there were still a few live goblins floating around but they kept their distance. We made it back to where we teleported from and Venser kicked a few dead goblins. My eyes lit up and I bolted over and grabbed my staff, then bolted over and hugged Venser “THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!” I basically shouted in his ear. I stopped hugging Venser “ok, where is this thing that needs moving?” Venser pointed at my staff “you have already moved it, I was unable to pick it up, or even teleport it, it a unique weapon to be able to defy my magic, don’t ever lose it again, it seems that only you can carry it” I twirled my staff felling the way it moved around my hand “maybe next time I’ll connect a surf board cable to it” in my sarcasm the staff smacked me in the shin. Venser tried to hold in a laugh “Seems your staff has feelings” I nodded and patted the staff “he’s right you know, I think you understand what I’m saying, so let’s make a simple code, you get warm for yes, and cold for no, if I do something to insult you, you can whack me” the staff got warm indication it understood. I looked up at Venser and nodded smiling; I put the staff on my back “anything else to check while we are here” Venser shook his head “not unless you want to track down some ogre’s” I paused “not really” Venser nodded “then we are done, let’s go back to Sky Hope” I put my hand on Venser’s shoulder “the SHCTS please” Venser nodded “ok” and we vanished from the iron forge and appeared outside the Sky Hedge City Train Station. I turn to Venser “you know I got to stop spending time with you, it’s making me lazy” Venser shrugged “I don’t teleport everywhere” I shrugged “I would and thanks again” Venser nodded “no problem and cya around hopefully” I nodded “hopefully” and we both walked out ways, Venser towards the Elevator to lower city, me into the train station.
The train was there when I got to the platform so I got on, put my staff back in my bag where it could not annoy anyone that decided to sit next to me and waited for it to depart. Six twenty five in the morning and no idea what I was going to do for the rest of the day, I decided today would be a day where I do nothing. Before the train moved I decided to go up top to watch the outside of the train turn back to a ghost train when we hit the barrier. I looked around and spotted Lisanna standing with Mirajane and Elfman at the window of the carriage behind me and waved and she waved back then pointed to her request sheet and gave a thumb up indicating they had completed their request.
Soon after the train departed and I heard the last footsteps on the polished wood I wouldn't hear again until arriving back at Sky Hope, I felt the person stop next to me “it’s an amazing thing magic isn’t it?” she said. “if only we knew how it worked” I replied not looking away from the front of the train “isn’t it ironic how the forgotten world has a bigger population then the normal world, and yet the normal world has no idea we even exist” I nodded noticing the odd sadness in her voice “some normal people know, but they probably have family in our world” I felt her gaze pass over me “true, but most of the family’s that have people that are part of the forgotten world move to sky hope” I looked at her “so sky hope has a non-magical populace?” she looked at me and our eyes locked for a few seconds, they were the most stunning cyan blue I had ever seen “about three quarters of sky hope city population is non-magical, look front now we about to hit the barrier, I can feel your eyes starting to drift” I nodded trying to hold in a blush and looked forwards. We were both looking forwards when the train hit the barrier and became a ghost train “my family is non-magical, should I invite them to live in sky hope city?” the girl moved and sat down at the nearest seat “that is completely up to you, Do they know you’re one of the forgotten?” I sat down next to her “I was forgotten, now they know I’m alive” the girl shook her head “big mistake telling them you were still alive” I nodded in understanding “probably, but my first request actually came from my dad and I didn’t know that till I got there and well… I’m sure you can guess the rest” she nodded “I have never heard of that happening before, and with that knowledge at hand I would invite them to move to sky hope city” I nodded “I think your right, and I think I will” she looked at her watch “the train will be arriving soon, I only came up to watch the transformation, did not expect to get caught up in a conversation” I shrugged and smile at the same time “longest conversation I have had in ages, cya around I guess” she nodded “cya” then she made her way to the stairs, I turned “before you go, what’s your name?” she paused at the top of the stairs “Cyan” I blinked “that an odd name, I’m John Zarek” she grinned “Zarek is an odd name also” and she vanished down the stairs leaving me pondering my name that felt so natural, defiantly a lot more natural then Ian Humphrey.
