I woke up in a motel on my fifth day of looking for the maze entrance and went looking for Vadima who I found in an Upper city food area having breakfast. I sat down opposite her. “Any luck” I said as she looked up. “Nope” she sighed and continued eating. “You been attacked by anything super weird?” I asked. “A few giant spiders that had made webs between buildings” Vadima said. “I got attacked by the air” I added. “How do you get attacked my air?” Vadima asked. “I have no idea, but it was a fun fight for Coventeena” I said. “That’s nice, any clues for the maze yet?” Vadima asked. “I was about to ask you” I said. “So you didn’t find anything either?” Vadima asked. “Not a thing” I confirmed. “Maybe we should search the edges of the city” Vadima said. “Good idea, but I have to go back to the real world, I have furniture being delivered to my house today, I saw the paper work in this worlds overlay” I said. “Oh, well ok, send Ral in when you get out, tell him I’ll wait here for him” Vadima said. “Can do” I replied and got up “Cya around” said Vadima “Cya” I replied as I left.

I soon enough found my way back to the real world and turned to look at the blue swirling door I had walked through. Before I had even left the alley way Melek was standing at the top of the alley way. “Contact Ral, Vadima wants him in the Maze, I have stuff I need to attend to at home” I said to Melek who nodded and pulled out his phone as I walked home. When I got home I pulled my keys out of my bag and opened the empty house and sat on the carpeted floor of the lounge room while I waited. It was not long before I was lying on my back with my hands under my head. And not long after that I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was on a bed looking at the ceiling fan. “Where am I?” was the first thing I said. “You’re in your bed” Cov said from beside me. “What happened” I asked as I looked at her. “well not long after you fell asleep on the floor the doorbell rang and so I got up and answered it and it was the delivery guys, they brought all the stuff you had purchased inside for you and after they left I carried you in here” Cov answered. “Oh, thanks for that” I said as I sat up. “That’s ok” Cov said as she also sat up. “What time is it?” I asked as I looked around. “I’m not sure, you didn’t buy a clock, but it’s dark outside” Cov answered. “How do you know that, the curtains are shut” I said as I looked at the window. “I can see differently then you remember” Cov said as she moved around to sit next to me. “I know, but I didn’t know you could see through stuff” I said. “That’s a select skill, like an aspect but with a different usage timer” Cov said. “Is there any magic a Haze can use that does not have a reuse timer?” I asked. “Is Talking Magic?” Cov asked. “Not really” I answered. “How about flying in haze form?” Cov asked. “I’m not sure, have you been able to do that since birth?” I asked. “I don’t think birth is the right word, but it’s probably the best word to use and yes I have been able to fly in my haze form since birth” Cov said. “Then I doubt it’s a Magic, more of a natural ability” I said. “Well I cannot think of anything else then being able to swap between Haze form and physical form” Cov said. “How many physical forms do you have anyway?” I asked. “As many as I can think of” Cov answered. “Can you do a tiger or a bird?” I asked. “Easily” Cov answered as she turned into a Siberian Tiger. “That’s impressive” I said as I patted Cov’s head. “While in animal forms I can do all the things they can do but it limits the aspects I can use, some things just don’t mix” Cov said as she returned to her elf form. “You’re incredible you know that right?” I said. “It’s something every haze can do” Cov said. “I like your elf form the most” I said as laid back down. “I’m glad you took good form as you grew, you see so many fat people now days” Cov said as she looked at me. “So what happens now?” I asked. “I don’t know, what do you feel like doing and don’t lie, I can read your mind remember” Cov said. “Then why don’t you do it all the time?” I asked. “Because that takes the fun out of life” Cov answered. “Well ok then, tell me what I’m thinking” I said. “How about I give you the silent answer” Cov said. “Ok” I said. Cov then leaned over me and kissed me and I found myself kissing her back and again things snowballed from there (sorry people skipping out of details because there might be under 18’s reading this)
