“You mother fuckers are amazing! We are a little band called…” Gerard paused for dramatic effect and the crowd screamed in anticipation, “MY. CHEMICAL. ROMANCE! And don’t you ever, ever, ever, ever, forget it! Goodnight London!”

Gerard was the last one off the stage; he was covered in sweat and had a very enthusiastic grin plastered across his painted-white face. He walked directly to me-after collecting his water bottle and towel- and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in for a quick kiss. Holy fuck, ever after being together officially for two weeks, and all the kisses we’ve shared, I still get mad butterflies every time his lips meet mine.

So, quick germy report- yes Germy, it’s our names together. Oh, shut up- after we landed in England we got to the hotel and checked in and all of that non-exciting shit. Gerard and I were roomed together in a single, while Ray and bob shared a room and Mikey and Frankie shared another one.

When Gee and I got to the room, I hopped in the shower after gathering and putting my stuff away-we were in the UK for three weeks-in the right places.

I was happily and contently shampooing my red and black tresses when I heard the door click open and someone sit on the closed lid toilet next to the shower. I was so happy the shower wasn’t see through.

“Uhm, hello?” I asked a little skeptical.

“Stormy, we really need to talk about earlier.” He sighed, he being Gerard.

“Now isn’t exactly a good time I’m sho-“He cut me off.

“I think I’m falling in love with you!” I could hear his hand quickly meet his slips, meaning he covered his mouth as soon as the words escaped his lips.

I dropped the conditioner I had in my hand –I had washed the shampoo out while he spoke the first time- and poked my drenched head around the shower veil.

“You what?”

“No, I know I’m falling in love with you. From the first time I saw you, I knew you were meant to be in my life. Things clicked instantly with you, you were special and I could tell so effortlessly. I was serious about us being friends, Storm. I had no ulterior motive whatsoever. I really didn’t expect to develop such strong feelings for you, I didn’t plan on kissing you, and I definitely didn’t plan on talking to you about this while you were naked and in the shower of the hotel room we shared.” He said in one breath, those long notes really came in handy I guess.

“Gerard, shut up. I love you too. Granted I always have, but in a fan-girlish way before. Now, I guess I’m falling in love for the first time. It is a tad bit awkward you felt the need to tell me all of this while I was indisposed, but hey, to each his own. I enjoyed the kiss or I wouldn’t have kissed you back.” I flicked water at his face after I finished my sentence as if saying ‘duh’. He scrunched his nose and laughed at me.

“So where does that leave us, Miss Weathers?” Gee questioned nervously as he got up and dried his face.
