Hey guys! Hope y'all had a great thanksgiving!
I hope that y'all enjoyed that Turkey or if not Turkey then whatever y'all had to eat! My dinner sure was great!

I also have this weighing on me tho. I know it's a petty thing to be upset about, but it's also something that needs to stop.
Homeschooling discrimination!
I am sick and tired of getting ignored or daggers being shot at me from my former friends that are public school just because I'm homeschooled.
Yes, it is an issue and I just need to clear some things up.
Being homeschooled is no different than if you come home from public school with a ton of homework and you, that's right, *gasps* work on it at your house! Such a mind blowing thing right? You, doing schoolwork, at your house! Omg what is this sorcery!
Sarcasm out of the way, homeschooling is no different than that. Except instead of handing it in to your teacher, you just give it to your guardian or whoever is homeschooling you.
Another thing is, I am literally doing, if not more, of the exact same schoolwork at home as those in public school my age.
Yes, that's right, I'm actually doing schoolwork at my house... Shocker.
Anyways, the benefits of that are, you can literally take as much time as you need to, let's say for example, master a section on math.
Suzie is struggling on a particular part of her science and is in public school.
Amy is struggling on the same particular thing in science and is homeschooled.
Suzie asks for help, gets help, but still doesn't have enough time to completely master that concept because the teacher had already moved on to the next section in science. Sadly she falls behind because she needed that one skill to help her in the next section, but struggles with it and is falling behind even more than before.
Amy, however, gets help, but can continuously work and try to improve on that skill for however long she needs to master it, making her able to master that skill, and surprisingly enough, able to move on to the next section that is using the that particular part she was struggling with. She since she has mastered what she was struggling with, she can now use what she was learned previously and can move on to the next section that uses what she was struggling with. She is not falling behind.
Another benefit is, since homeschooling is flexible, believe it or not, people who are homeschool socialize more than those who sit in a school all day with the same people for an entire school year, while the homeschooled child is getting out and meeting more/new people instead of sitting in a school with people they see every day. There is proof on the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (hslda) web page if you are questioning this.
Period is, I'm doing the exact same thing as those who are in public school. I do not deserve to be treated from former people who were friends of mine with daggers or being ignored. That's honestly pretty petty. Homeschooled children shouldn't be looked down upon just simply for the sake that they are being homeschooled. We are still getting an education like those in public school, it just happens to be at my house in my kitchen. Also one more benefit before I forget!
You can finish your school work in about 1-2 hours tops, instead of having to sit at a school for 8hrs of your day. After I get my schoolwork done in those 1-2 hrs, the rest of the day is mine to do whatever I want (I mostly play video games lol).
Homeschool discrimination needs to stop. I'm no different than those in public school. And public school children are no different than me. So why are we treating others differently for it?
Rant over
Ugh I feel so much better now
That's really all lol 😂
Stay slayin 😎
