..... GUYS I'M BACK!!!!
This past few months since having a boyfriend and COVID has really been hectic this year. I've had to focus a lot of my time on my college work every day and I literally haven't stopped since the spring of this year. I went straight through the spring semester and then straight to summer and here I am now after only have a week and a half off to recuperate from all the knowledge being put into my little tiny sized pea brain... but that's besides that point... LOL
I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but I am currently employed at McDonald's and omg! I got promoted to crew trainer during my summertime madness. This on top of finishing school came with a ton of responsibilities at work but it's safe to say I'm adjusting to now having more of a say at work instead of not being heard half of the time. I have to follow protocol and make sure everyone is doing the same (much like a hall monitor lol) and let me say people have been getting pissed at me for that because, this one guy literally tired putting McChicken in the basket to be fried.... WITH HIS BARE HANDS! And of course I caught him and told him (nicely at that) that he shouldn't be doing that and he needs to be wearing gloves because that is a health safety violation... and this dude had the nerve to look pissed of at ME for ME telling HIM that what he was doing was W R O N G! UGH... that made me angry, but I had to tell the store manager this and it helps because me and her get along very well and carry on a lot and are best friends.
But... omg did it get interesting from there...
We hired this new person (I'm changing names for confidentality purposes) Suzanne, and let me tell you something... this chick is legit schizophrenic and something else and not all mentally there! Why we hired her is beyond me, however when you are trying to train someone, specifically her, and she goes to get a drink and lays it on the manager desk and you politely tell her to move it to the break room, and she asks if it's the one with the mirror, and you say yes, and she tells you that she hates getting stuck INSIDE mirrors... clearly something is amiss.
But wait... theres more *facepalm*
She also called one of my best friends/coworker a side hoe for dating her boyfriend that works in grill... That was below the belt... Also, saying how she has voices in her head and now you have to walk on eggshells just so she'll like you so that the voices in her head don't tell her to kill you... yup that's where I'm at.
Also when she's just randomly talking to a wall at work and laughing at herself... you'd think a sane person would think there is something wrong with her and she needs another job but NOOOOoOOOOoooooOoOoo... that'd be waaaaaaay too easy.
She is super nice and I'm not trying to talk bad about her, but if you aren't mentally there and you're also just catatonically staring at customers and they feel uncomfortable... it's time to move on and find another job.
Just sayin'...
Other than that life has been great me and my boyfriend are good as well and are currently a year and almost 3 months together. Yes, it hasn't been sunshine happy rainbow unicorns, but we've worked through a lot... and I mean A LOT of things together... OH! I almost forgot...
I was kinda, sorta, maybe in the most traumatic event in my life that shocked me and made me entirely grateful that I'm alive every single day I wake up out of my sleep in the mornings. Me and my boyfriend were in a head-on collision and that... is the most entirely violent experience in my entrie lifetime that I've had to endure. Also, my Mom was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and she's taking it pretty hard... She just started her does of very potent medication that they actually use to help treat patients with cancer, but it's a very low dose. My mom is having a rough time with it because she's worried about her hair falling out, which is understandable because I would be too.
But... yeah that's just a little tidbit of what's been happening in my life this year. And yes, I just realized each break in the paragraphs started with a "but" but guess what I don't care lmao!
I hope that you all have a wonderful day and Hopefully some of you still read this and have this in your library... I want to try and get back to writing again on here, but we shall see with how college work goes. I'm not leaving just gotta find my groove again.
