"Hello?" She barked into the phone on the second ring. Man I love Briyana but her attitude is disgusting. Believe me when I say short girls have a temper, my Briy is only 5'4 which is tiny compared to my 5'11 frame. I called her with some work we need to get done tonight to get me out of this problem with these guys. My girl is my ride or die so any problems I have becomes her problems too. But, right now the way she answered the phone for me just pissed me off.
I quickly told her to be ready at ten o'clock without giving her any details because I do not have time for her bullshit tonight. After her job is complete we need to have a serious conversation. For right now though I need to come up with some plan for my baby momma to do what I need her to do fast and keep the both of us alive. Our lives weren't always this damn difficult and there's no way we can turn back now.
Briyana and I met when we were just fourteen years old, about five years ago. I knew once I laid eyes on her she would be mine. While in our own thoughts we walked right into each other I was pissed off for sure but when I looked into her brown eyes with her flawless hershey brown toned skin I couldn't help the smirk that crept upon my face. From that Tuesday morning on we kept in contact and started dating since we had so much in common it just seemed like she was my soulmate. Her parents were going through their separation due to her father's constant cheating and her mother's drug abuse. Me on the other hand I was used to dealing with bullshit in my personal life my father wasn't man enough to raise me since he thought he was too young to settle down or provide for a family. My dad left my mom the day she told him she was pregnant and I cannot help but to believe she resents me for his decision to walk out. Without the unconditional love of the woman that birthed me or a male figure to raise me I did what I had to do to care of myself.
The small town in Jersey we live in everybody is the same, trying to make money in order to feed their family and get out of the hood. We all either sell drugs or make music, but Briy and I don't do either of those anymore. We've moved on to bigger things, more money, and a world of trouble if we ever get caught, which I'm sure we won't.
