Jail was a place I never ever wanna go back to. I couldn't piss by myself, take a shower by myself, or even come and go as I pleased. I'm used to doing whatever I wanna do when I wanna do it so, I needed to stay far away from that hell hole. I'm usually very careful with what I do, who knew my baby mother would be the reason I was sitting behind bars. I tried calling Briy while I was locked up but she ain't wanna listen to what I had to say, I wanted her to bail me out too to save myself some money since it was her fault I was in there. I was also gonna give her a weak ass apology just so she could take me back like she always does whenever I do something wrong. The only good thing about sitting in jail was I was well respected since I know a couple crooked ass people in the system judges, lawyers, officers, you name it. I got bailed out of jail the morning after the fight went down, I never needed Briy but why wouldn't I use her if she was there to cater to my every need? I never even loved Briyana, but this stunt she pulled when she had me put in jail? She created a new enemy and she will regret EVER having me believe she was different, she's just like my mother.
"Ayo Rah!" some nigga yelled from behind me. I turned around to be faced with Lorenzo, I knew him all my life but we always lose contact somehow. Last I heard he was in jail after the police raided his house. We went to the same schools and ended up trappin' together. I was trappin' up until I noticed that my baby momma could make me more money than I was getting on those corners. I wasn't really a corner boy though I just stood there every once in a while to continue throwing off anyone that could have been watching me. My role in the drug empire was a much higher ranking than dealing on corners but, that was nobody else's business. I was only taking a small break from the drug empie. I'll be back on top real soon!
"Yooo where you been Renzo?" I asked while we did our lil handshake as if I didn't know, you could never believe everything you hear anyways. Believe nothing that you hear and only half the things you see, looks can be deceiving.
"Man shit got hot around my way. I had to do a lil bid or whatever. It wasn't nothing to a nigga like me. Plus I had my hoes visiting me, sending me money, and making sure everything out here was good. I heard you got in some shit too." He said making my mind wonder a little since nobody should've known a damn thing about what happened between Briyana and I.
"What you heard now? You always hearing something." I questioned him but deep down inside I was getting upset. What I did to Briyana was a mistake, somewhat. I roughed her up because she was pissing me off and the drugs and liquor in my system must have made me a little more stronger than I already am. But, her ass was definitely getting her hits in too. She was being dramatic there was no reason for her to press charges we could have just made up after a couple of hours like we usually did.
"You know I keep a couple of these cops on my payroll just to be safe. Ain't nothing in this city going down without my knowledge. I couldn't even believe that shit, you of all people catching a DV charge? That don't even sound like the Rah I know." He said with a sigh. He was right I would never hurt a female as bad as I hurt Briy but a lot has changed since we were business partners a little while back.
"It wasn't even like that. You know me, I wouldn't do that to anybody let alone Briyana. Let me go though man my girl in the car waiting for me, hit me up I may be getting back out here with you." I told him while making my way towards the driver's seat of Imani's BMW.
"Bet. They really gon hate us if we get back to the way we used to be. I'ma get at you bro." That was the end of the convo. Memories began to flood my mind of the good times we shared while coming up in the trap.
"Finally damn!" Imani interrupted my thoughts as soon as I shut the door. She bailed me out yesterday. I am so thankful for her, whenever I need anything she's there in a heartbeat. I gave her a kiss to shut her up. " Baby can we go eat I'm hungry and you sitting up there talking like I got all day." she stated with an attitude instead of entertaining her I pulled off heading to our favorite restaurant, Red Lobster.
