If you are lucky enough to be chosen to be a writer then you have an amazing life ahead of you. I can't lie and say life will be easy, but it will be amazing. You will be lucky enough to experience the life any artist will have plus the ability to live many different lives through your writing. You will be able to use every second of your life to enhance your writing and the believability of your characters. Yes others artists will be able to use their life experience in their art, but writers can use those experiences in ways unlike others. Writers have the ability to see through people straight to their souls, see the pain hidden behind their smiles and the tears behind their eyes. Writers can see through lies and see the holes in stories. Writers are tortured souls who live with great pain but still manage to hide behind masks. A writer uses their pain though to bring joy to another person's life through their writing. A writer knows how to form words into sentences that have more depth than the deepest ocean and more meaning than there are stars in the universe. A writer can write to let out all their feelings but not know how to form words to explain their feelings to others. A writer's life isn't easy, but it is very rewarding. A writer can write what they think is the best story of their career and send it to every publishing house out there and have it turned down. Instead of giving up though, they will just start writing another story and put their emotions from the rejection into it and come out with an even better story. Writers are modest and don't like to brag, yes they like to tell people about their accomplishments, but they try their best not to. Writers will take things literally but tuck it all away and bottle it up so they can use it later in their stories or as a way to experience pain. Writers will torture themselves in any way possible if they feel it will make their writings better. They may starve themselves, cause themselves physical pain, do drugs, drink alcohol, use general anaesthesia, lock themselves away, etc. just to get into the mind of their character. They may even get themselves kidnapped or lost just to know what it feels like...
