Rachel's POV

Again, there were many gasps as my friends caught a glimpse of my mansion. It was much the same reaction as when we saw Piper's house.

"How the hell do I know two people with big ass mansions?" Leo screeched. I walked up, ruffled his hair(shoving him over a little in the process) and walked right past him.

Getting into the house, we didn't see anyone. I could here my crazy music all the way from the doorway. So I led my friends up the stairs to my bedroom which just so happened to be the entire top floor of the mansion.

Half of my friend's jaws were hitting the floor. Percy didn't look at all surprised, seeing as he'd seen my room in a dream(not like that you pervs).

Young me(I was fourteen maybe fifteen) was in my 'room' painting like usual. I had strange music blaring in the background, the windows open to the bustling sounds of New York, light streaming in.

My jeans were covered in paint and my t-shirt sported the logo of an art company. I hummed along to the music and painted a picture. As I went, I started to make out the image my past self was painting.

It was of Percy at the Hoover Dam. There were skeletons in the distance and he looked startled. A hand(mine I'm assuming) had his shirt in a fist, yanking him out of the way.

Percy cocked his head at the painting. "You painted that?" He asked. "Yeah," I said, still looking straight forward.

"I'm confused," Katie said, raising her hand.

"It happened back when Percy was on a quest with Grover, Thalia, Bianca, and Zoë. They went to the Hoover Dam and I just happened to be there at the same time. Percy attacked me with his sword before realizing I was mortal and I hid him from the skeletons. Our paths crossed again the next summer."

"Hm," Katie pondered the idea.

Just then my father walked in. "Rachel, turn down that dreadful music. I have a meeting downstairs in half an hour and the they mustn't know you're here."

Young Rachel grabbed the remote and turned the music up instead of down.

Dad stepped forward. "Young lady, you do what I tell you. Once you go to Clarion Lady's Academy..."

"I'm not going!" I yelled, turning off the music. "Now get out!"

He gave me one last glare and left without another word.

"That's about the only time he ever payed attention to me," I said. Piper gave me a knowing look.

The scene changed to a warm summer day at camp. I caught sight of myself, about a year older, flying into camp on a Black Pegasus.

I landed and jumped off Blackjack and raced to the Big House. In the distance I saw Percy, Annabeth, and Nico running to catch up with me. Past me didn't even notice, but was fully occupied with holding my arms out at my side and speaking to the Oracle in the attic.

Apollo descended from the heavens and watched as well. Green smoke billowed from the house and out walked the Oracle. "You've carries this burden for far too long," I told her.

"Rachel, don't! It's too dangerous!" Percy yelled from the side. Apollo told him something I didn't catch, probably to shut up.

"You can rest now," I said, and the green coiling snake mist left the now pile of bones to enter me.

Everything faded to black.
