It had been almost a month and spring was coming fast. College would start again. It was okay though if I took the online courses. So I could stay here as long as I wanted. The guys had done like, fifteen concerts so far and it was going great, apart from all the hate messages which I ignored, go me! And the mobbing of fans, it was fine. Suddenly, my phone blared out and I scrambled to get it. The other boys were still sleeping and I was getting myself some breakfast.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Is this Delilah Fontaine?" a woman's voice asked.

"Um, yes, yes it is."

"My name is Elizabeth Henning, editor of the Galazy News Magazine. Well, congratulations Miss Fontaine. You have been accepted for a job at Galaxy News Magazine!" she exclaimed.

I gasped. "Really?"

"Yes, it's only for a couple of months, maybe half a year? And it's in New York so-" she started. I cut her off.

"I'm sorry for interupting, but it's in New York?" I asked, not believing it. It couldn't be! What about England? The magazine was a worldwide one wasn't it?

She hesitated. "Yes, it is. Why, is there a problem?" she asked, sounding worried. I shook my head even though she couldn't see it.

"No, no of course not. Please, go on," I urged.

"We need you to cover the fashion and beauty section maybe? We've noticed your style and our fashion editors would like you to test out your writing about fashion skills."

I was very please and proud but the fact that the whole job was in New York overpowered that pride. "Will you be able to send the information to me?"

"Why, yes, we can. How should I contact you?" she asked.

"Please send the information to my email. Thank you."

"Very well. Good day." The phone clicked off. I stared at the stove in utter silence for a while with my phone in my hands.

"What was that about?" a voice asked behind me. It was Liam. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and I turned off the stove.

I sat down into one of the kitchen table chairs and put my head in my hands. I heard him sit across from me. "I got a job offer," I mumbled, looking down at the shiny wooden table, not wanting to look him in the eyes.

"Why's that bad?" he asked, confused.

Looking up at him, I gave him a pained expression. "It's in New York Liam. What about Niall?" I asked.

He nodded, understanding. "You have to tell him."

"I know... He'll probably get back with that Savannah freak and then forget all about me and-" I started babbling.

Liam cut me off by putting a hand on my shoulder. "It's okay. He won't forget you. If he does, well, he's a jerk for doing that. Dani and El will be so sad though. But I'm sure everyone will keep in touch with you," he conforted me.

Smiling, I pushed a cup of coffee toward him. "Thanks."

"Tell who what?" a sleepy Zayn stumbled into a chair. I laughed and got up to make another well needed coffee for him.

Sipping his coffee, Liam looked at me. I nodded. "She's needs to tell Niall about her magazine job offer in New York," he whispered to Zayn. Immediately, Zayn was awake and he sat up, not believing it.

"What?" he yelled. I slapped a hand over his mouth and checked to see if any of the other boys were awake. Lucky me, they never woke up before noon sometimes. Especially the ever sleeping Harry and Lou.

Nodding somberly, I set a steaming cup of coffee in front of him. "Yeah, he'll be heartbroken..." I mumbled sadly. Zayn and Liam agreed. Liam nodded, set down his cup and burped a little. I laughed, knowing that I'd miss these guys a lot if I took the job. "But it's only for half a year and then after that... Well, we'll just have to wait and see?"

"Well, I'm sure he can live six months... But then when you come back we'll probably be still on the tour?" Zayn mused.

"Yeah, you can still do a little of the tour with us because your sister will see us after that!" Liam shot out of his chair. I smiled and motioned him to be quiet and to sit down. I didn't want them to get too excited because what if something unexpected turned up?

"What is this? Secret messages in the early morning?" Niall asked, taking a seat next to me and putting an arm around my shoulders. I blushed.

Liam and Zayn looked at me, raised their eyebrows, and then slowly got up and left, whispering. "Um, Niall, we have to talk," I said, turning to face him.

He took his arm off my shoulders and looked at me. "Yeah? You know I'll be there for you whatever it is..."

I smiled gratefully. "Okay, I've been offered a job..." I started.

Grinning, he started to say something along the lines of "That's great!" but I shushed him with a hand motion.

"It's for Galaxy News magazine, you know that famous one?"

Niall nodded. "Yep, I know the one."

I breathed in a lot of air before continuing.

"It's in New York." I finally finished, breathing out a huge sigh.

Niall just sat there stunned. "But- but that's on the other side of the world!" he stuttered. I nodded sadly without saying anything. "But there's Skype and stuff and we can probably visit you when we go to the United States right? And-" he started rambling.

"Yeah Niall, we can Skype. It'll be totally fine. Seriously," I assured him, patting him on the shoulder. I just hoped it would be.
