"Where were you?" Niall asked as Harry and I got back. I didn't look at him.

"Why would you care?" I snapped.

Our of the corner of my eye I saw him turn red. Harry squeezed my hand, reminding me not to get all snobby.

"We're on in two!" Zayn called from his place already on the stage. He was sitting on the white couch, patting his hair. Harry and I rushed on stage and sat next to each other on the couch. I saw Niall approaching so I scooted over next to Liam and pulled Harry after me.

"It's fine love," he whispered in my ear.

"Yeah but it's gonna be weird," I protested, and he chuckled.

The sound of applause filled the large room and we all waved and smiled to the cameras. Savannah was gripping Niall's arm like she was glue. It was quite annoying. Her smile was so fake too and she was wearing so much makeup. Her sequined red dress shined in the light but made her look like a lit up light bulb and she wore six inch high heels. I don't know why Niall liked her but anything he did was a mystery to me.

Maysie Heyman was back. She smiled her huge smile and sat on the couch diagonal from us. "Hello! We have One Direction back in the studios again for another interview! So, Niall, I hear this is your special girl!" she gushed, winking.

Niall smiled uncomfortably. "Yeah, this is Savannah Gray."

The interviewer nodded. "And tell me a little about yourself Savannah Gray," she requested, saying both of her names right.

"Well, my family owns Gray Inc. and-" she started. Maysie seemed impressed that Savannah's family had invented a bunch of useless stuff such as the PlannerPad. Which was a planner... On an iPad. Why not just get an iPad? It has tons of other stuff on it too...

I snickered to Harry. "Gray Inc? Like Gray Ink? That's so stupid."

"And I passed college with honors," she added, but all I heard was blah, blah, blah.

After the whole interview had finished, Maysie turned to the boys. "Well, since times almost up, I'd like to ask a question everyone's been dying to hear the answer to. Who is single?" she asked, with her eyebrows raised questioningly.

She motioned for Niall to speak. "Taken," he mumbled and Savannah smiled big. I rolled my eyes.

"Yep, Danielle." Liam said.

"Elli!" Louis exclaimed. The audience laughed lightly and Maysie smiled.

"Single!" Zayn grinned and some of the teen girl audience members sighed a sigh of relief, knowing that their precious Zayn was still there.

"And you, Mister Styles. What's your status?" Maysie asked.

Harry smiled at Maysie. "I'm currently single but I don't know...," he announced purposefully, looking at me. Niall seemed mad. Perfect.

Niall's POV

I couldn't believe it. What was this? A joke? Harry couldn't like her. Harry liked Caroline Flack. This was messed up. The van ride home was filled with Savannah bragging about all of her sailing and whatever medals and whatnot. I couldn't stand this anymore. Savannah gripped my arm all the way and when I told her I had to get home and actually out of the van, she pursed her lips and let go. Delilah and I walked silently to my flat. After out fight, she had moved all her stuff back in. God knows how long that would be before she moved again.

"You know Harry and I will never be together because of Caroline Flack," she mused. I mentally rolled my eyes as we both sat on the couch the farthest away from each other. I clicked the white TV remote and Britain's Got Talent played on mute.

"Yeah well, we all know how you can't live with Savannah," I shot back.

She looked confused. "Um, okay? None of the other guys like her Niall. She's the devil. She was flirting with Zayn and his hair!" she rolled her eyes. "She's not your type."

"Right. Like you know what my type is and what isn't," I scoffed.

"Well, I'm sorry I'm not skinny or good looking, or whatever. I'm sorry I'm not Savannah! Just... Ugh!" she stormed out of the room.

I grabbed my phone and dialed Harry.

"Hey Niall!" he exclaimed.

"Don't hey Niall me."

"Woah, someone's mad..."

"Yeah. What's up with Delilah?" I asked.

I knew Harry was trying to come up with an excuse. Stomache hurting? Previous break up? I didn't want to hear it. I just wanted to hear the truth. "Well, you see, a couple of years ago, she-" Harry started.

"Aw shut up. That's not true..."

"Yeah, I know," he mumbled into the phone.

Sitting down on the couch and staring at the TV, I waited for the truth. "Okay fine. She likes you Niall. I'm not kidding. She told me that yesterday and that's why we were doing that thingy at the interview!" he breathed out. I almost dropped the phone.

"What?" I asked, not sure if I heard right. "You're joking."

"Nope," he replied, popping the p. "Now go on, go tell you you're feelings for her!" he commanded. "Go on! Chop chop!" he added in a high voice. I didn't laugh but instead hung up on him and called Savannah.

"Oh hey Niall."

"Hi," I replied bluntly.

"So I was thinking, you could get rid of that mousy little Delilah Fountain? She's kind of getting on my nerv-" she started.

"No. I'm getting rid of you. We're over," I retorted. She gasped. Did she really think I was going to get rid of Delilah?

"Well, you're making the biggest mistake of your little life. You're wasting your time on your charity case. She's just some poor little girl who lives a poor little life!" she snarled.

I rolled my eyes at her just trying to change my mind. "You know, since you're being all... Like that, you're just changing my mind so... Good night." I hung up and went to go find Delilah.

She was sitting on her bed, with her laptop, and crying.

"Hey," I leaned against the doorframe. She didn't look at me. "When did this whole fancying thing start?" I asked. She looked up, her eyes brimming with tears.

"How do you know?" she asked.

"Harry..." we both said together.

"Well, um, I'm sorry... I just broke up with Savannah, if you're happy..." I mumbled. She looked at me confused. "She called you my charity case..." I added.

Delilah looked up at me. "Am I?" she asked.

"Okay, if you were my chariry case, why would I ask you out?" I grinned and she smiled.

"I don't know but I'm gonna say yes!" she exclaimed. Delilah jumped up and hugged me.
