Looking around the tour bus, I savored the memories I had had with the boys, and everyone else. With Dani, El, and even the interviews. I was glad Savannah might be out of Niall's life forever, I was glad I had made so many good friends, and I was glad I had met Niall. Picking up some of my suitcases, I looked out of the tour bus window at the five boys who were talking with their heads together. Niall was sort of out of their little gossip circle, hands stuffed in his hoodie pockets, face sad. I instantly felt bad for us finally getting together and then having to leave a month later. We would make it work. We both promised.
"I'm ready," I called as I shoved the suitcases out of the bus. We were all in front of the airport, and this would be the last time I would see them in person. For a little while.
Louis ran over and grabbed some of my things, helping me all the way to the private jet they had let me use. All of them refused to let me get onto a public plane. They were so sweet.
"I'll miss you." Liam hugged me and stepped back.
"SAME HERE!" Louis yelped, crushing my bones in a hug. I peek out form the hug and saw Harry and Niall wince. I grinned and hugged Louis back.
Zayn stepped forward a grinned. "Skype is gonna have an overload from calls these six months," he joked. I laughed lightly and pulled him into a hug.
After Harry had said his goodbyes, Niall was last. He kept his hands stuffed in his pockets. "Well, remember to email, call, and Skype whenever you can..." he reminded me. I smiled and hugged him, tears welling up in my eyes.
"You know I will," I assured him as he hugged me back. We pulled away and he reached into his pants pocket, pulling out a tiny box. I looked at it. "Is there gonna be something that will pop up in my face?" I asked.
He laughed and shook his head. "Just open it." He reached for my hand and guided it to the box's lid. I slowly pryed opent he lid and gasped as a sparkling peridot shined in the Spring noon sun. It was a ring with two small diamonds surrounding a bigger peridot jewel.
"It's beautiful," I breathed. I slowly slid the ring onto my rigtht ring finger. I didn't want people to think i was married or anything... Awkward... I looked into Niall's eyes and smiled. We slowly leaned and closed our eyes. Slowly, our lips met. Yay! Our first kiss. I was slowly forgetting everything around me. A speaker yelled that I was supposed to be boarding my private jet and we slowly pulled away. I hugged him one more time and he stepped back to join the other guys as they waved at me until I reached the plane.
A flight attendant helped with my numerous luggage and I smiled gratefully. Life could be perfect in some ways and not so perfect in others.
A 10 hour flight. Good thing I had wifi, my laptop, and my phone. I took out my computer and started up Twitter and Facebook. I quickly typed some tweets saying blah, blah, I'm on the plane, and blah blah, I already miss you people, and stuff like that. After playing some Temple Run and such on my iPhone. I slowly fell asleep.
"Miss? We're here in New York," a soft voice said into my ear I opened my eyes and blinked the sleep out. Already? It couldntve been 10 hours already! The flight attendant smiled and helped me with my luggage. After thanking her, I got off the plane.
Immediately, I was met with blinding flashes of light and tons of people screaming my name and random questions.
I squinted and blinked, covering my eyes with my hand.
"Are you and Niall really together?" a man stuck a microphone under my nose and I politely pushed it away. The boys had taught me how to kind of deal with the paparazzi.
"Yes, we are. Please move along. Excuse me?" I pushed past them, the flight attendant trailing behind me avoiding the photographers. I was followed to the car which was waited for me, a black limo with tinted windows. The driver thanked the flight attendant, opened my door, and then piled my luggage into the back.
"Home Miss Fontaine?" the driver asked, looking at me in the rearview mirror.
I nodded. "If you can call it that," I shrugged. The boys and my mom had arranged for me to rent a nice apartment in New York City for six months. I had seen pictures from when my cousin who lives in New York went and took pictures. He nodded and started the engine. The whole twenty minute ride the car was silent. We finally reached a large apartment and we both took my luggage upstairs to my apartment, I thanked him, and he drove off. I dug through my bag and brought out a key Liam had given me. I inserted the key into the small keyhole and twisted. The door pushed open and I saw a nicely decorated small living room, a hallway that ended in an open bedroom, a small kitchen with a table and chairs, and a large bathroom. It took my about five minutes to move everything inside my new apartment and then two hours to just clean myself up, store my clothes in the closet, and eat something. I checked my phone and noticed it was ten, and suddenly realized how tired I was even though I had slept so much on the plane.
Niall! I suddenly remembered that I would call him and the boys. I quickly dialed his number and held the phone up to my ear.
"Hello?" he answered.
I smiled to myself. "Hey Niall!"
"Oh hey Dee, you reached New York? Are you in your apartment? Do you like it?" he asked, sounding worried.
"Yeah, it's beautiful. I have a view of Times Square and it's just wonderful. Tell all the boys I miss them and I said thanks okay? But I'm really tired..."
He understood. "Yeah, sure. Well, since it's like, 3 am here I'll-"
"Really? I'm so sorry Ni..." I drifted off. I had woken him up at three? I'm a really bad person...
"No, call me whenever and I'll always pick up!"
"Okay, sorry again. I gotta go. My job starts tomorrow. Love you!"
"Love you too." The phone clicked.
He loved me too?
