"Thor? What happened? Did I... did the Other Guy... again... what happened to your hair? Where's Tony?"
Thor shook his head sadly.
"Banner... it's been almost a century."
"A..."
"A century," Thor repeated, "a hundred Midgardian years."
"He knows what a century is," Loki snapped, "give the guy a break."
"Tony... Natasha..."
"Gone," Thor answered sympathetically.
"HOW CAN YOU TAKE THIS SO LIGHTLY?" Bruce demanded, a streak of green lighting up his neck.
"Whoa, calm down," Loki grumbled, "he's just had over twenty years to come to terms with it, that's all. Besides, watching your friends die comes with being immortal, you get used to it."
Bruce closed his eyes.
"Where are we?"
"Midgard," Thor answered cheerfully, "or at least, what's left of it."
"What's left of it?" Bruce repeated, biting his lip.
"Stop it, you oaf!" Loki jabbed Thor with his elbow, "and they call ME the insensitive one? Hmpff."
"I was only trying to help, brother."
"By Odin's beard, I AM NOT YOUR BROTHER!" Loki hollered, and Bruce cringed.
"Look at that, now he's terrified," Loki complained, gesturing to Bruce, "we should probably just get back to base. I can't wait to see the look on Brunnhilde's face when she sees him."

Title: Never In A Hundred Years
Main characters: Bruce Banner, Loki, Thor, Brunhilde (Valkyrie), and whoever else you want really. Just keep in mind that most characters from the MCU don't have the lifespan of an Asgardian, and thus probably won't be alive in this timeline.
Timeline: 100 years after the last Marvel movie, probably not keeping IW into account but that's up to the author.
General idea: Bruce Hulked out on a mission, and due to the insanely stressful circumstances that followed, he didn't turn back into Bruce again for almost a century. The Avengers are no longer in existence, but Thor re-formed the Revengers and they defend Midgard, which is under some terrible threat of the author's choice. For the rest I don't have much in the way of a plot yet.
Ships: Umm... I don't actually know. Up to the author. Bruce & Brunnhilde, maybe?
Theme song: Hunger Games theme, maybe? Idk
Includes:
◊ Maybe Steve and Bucky, because the Super Soldier Serum stuff could've kept them alive.
