CHAPTER FIFTEEN

BLAKE

"You haven't been talking with the Ferrer girl, have you?" Rose asked him as they walked to the cafeteria together.

Blake took his little sister's hand in his, sighing.

"No. I haven't. And even if I did, what's the matter with that?" Blake lied, mentally wanting to strangle his father for buying Rose a pony if she told him whether or not he talked with Allison.

Rose scrunched up her nose at the sight of the seafood that was being served in the cafeteria.

"Don't you remember father told you not to mingle with her? You know you could get into serious trouble. Besides, I don't want you to go away again." Rose said, lowering her head as she remember all those years of him being away.

And it all was because of that Ferrer girl.

Blake put a finger under Rose's chin, lifting her head, forcing her to look at him.

He'd missed Rose so much, she was just a toddler when his father sent him to that horrid boarding school in Spain.

"I'm not going to go, I promise. I'm older now, I can put my foot down, but you need to get into that beautiful little head of yours that Allison is my best friend and she's really important to me. I would really appreciate it if you didn't tell father. I know you don't like her but maybe if you would just give her a chance,"

Rose shook her head stubbornly, her blonde curls whipping back and forth as she crossed her at chest's length.

"I want to sit with Georgina! She's so pretty and she is so nice with me,"

Oh no, Allison will be pissed with me if I sit with G's clique, and to be honest with myself, I don't want to sit with her.

But when Rose caught glimpse of Georgina's dark hair, she ran to her, throwing her arms around her middle.

Georgina giggled, her silver tray teetering in her grip.

Blake hurried to them, taking the tray and settling it down on the booth where Ramona, Alma, Chelsea, Sophia, Robbie and the new students sat.

"Can I sit with them, please Blakey, please?" Rose batted her lashes innocently, her hands clasped tightly as if praying.

Blake smiled, what else could he do?

He couldn't say no to her, not in front of Georgina, and he certainly couldn't leave Rose with them, not if Ana wasn't there.

Where was she anyway?

"Please, join us as well, let's remember old times, when your acquaintances preferences were more accurate." smiled Georgina, attempting to joke, but the tone of her voice gave away the obvious resentment.

Blake was immeasurably displeased by her words, but zipped his mouth and sat down next to Rose.

"I've been in Spain, Madrid to be precise, it's such a lovely place. In which city did you live in?" asked Jake, having visited Spain with his family was one of the few pleasant memories he had.

"Madrid, I didn't see much, I was mostly in a very strict boarding school,"

ALLISON

"The bitch is practically throwing her thong at him! I never thought Georgina could sport such impertinent behavior," Jessica was staring at them from her compact mirror's reflection.
