"Mama, why are you making chocolate?" Kaito asked as he was peering up to his mom in the kitchen. Yukina looked down with a smile. "Because Valentine's Day is coming up! So I'm making some for your father."

Instantly, his eyes sparkled with stars. Really, it's like his father is his hero.

"Can I help?!" He pleaded with his eyes causing Yukina to chuckle softly.
"Of course, bring up the stool."

As the two were taking pieces to roll up, Kaito asked a question.

"Why do you make chocolates for daddy?"
"I guess it's tradition, sweetie." Yukina smiled at him. "Usually, the girl makes chocolates for the guys who are special in her life."
"Does that mean I get some too?" His face gleaming with hope.
"Of course. You are my little man after all." Yukina hugged Kaito while giving him a kiss  on the crown of his head. "But that also means you'll get some from the girls in your class." Yukina gasped playfully. "You'll be a ladies man for sure in the future."
"Woah, is that Yukina making chocolate?" Yumiko came into the kitchen, followed closely by Emma.
"Welcome home, guys." Yukina smiled to the two of them. "How was your afternoon date?"
Emma smiled after she took a seat across the island from Yukina. Yumiko was observing Kaito making the chocolate truffles in his hands. "Good, like usual. Is it okay if we have the place to ourselves this weekend?" Emma asked with a warm smile.
Yukina snickered using her hand to cover her mouth as she gave her a knowing look. "Ahhh, alone time??" She teased. Emma blushed but nodded earning a laugh from Yukina. "Not a problem. Do you want to go anywhere for the weekend, Kaito?"
Kaito hummed as he was thinking of a place to go but then an idea struck him. "Can we stay with dad? Since you talk to him everyday now?"
Yukina blushed at the fact that her son was so observant. "We have to ask him if it's okay first."

"Am I busy this weekend?"

Yukina was on the phone in the living room area. It was time for her nightly conversations with Wakatoshi and she didn't want to disturb Kaito as he was sleeping in their room.

"Yeah, Emma and Yumiko would like the place to themselves this weekend. Kaito wanted to hang out with you."
"Oh? Why would they need it? Are they throwing a party or something?"
"They're dating... they want to have sex."
Silence quickly followed after her comment and then Wakatoshi spoke again. "You know, that would explain everything back in high school."
"Right?! I don't understand how people could never see it when they were always together! Anyways, are you busy?"
"I was going to ask you to go on a dinner date with me this weekend for Valentine's Day. But I guess we can make it a family dinner."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Yukina furrowed her brows.
"Why are you sorry? We don't usually have a chance to go out as a family."
Yukina chuckled lightly as she laid herself down on the couch. "Do you have a place in mind?"
"We can fly over to Osaka? If you're interested."
"Oh? Just for a weekend?"
"Why not? I'm sure Kaito would find it fun. We can take my family's private jet."
"Ah, imagine being this rich where you can fly anywhere for free."
"Don't say it like that."
"Aw, is the great Wakatoshi pouting?"
"Only with you."

Although it was a light whisper, Yukina could clearly hear it. That one sentence was able to make her face go red. She covered her face with her free hand, thanking the lord that he was not there in person to witness her embarrassment.

"Okay, what time should we leave?"

Yukina continued on with the conversation, trying to make her voice sound the same even though she could feel her heart pounding loudly in her chest.

The couple decided to leave on Friday night so that they could use their time wisely out in Osaka. Kaito was overly excited and couldn't hide it. He kept asking his mom and his two aunts about Osaka and what's out there. The girls all agreed that the onsens are the best part of the city and so he was looking forward to that.
