It was almost midnight and my make up was running down my face from the rain and my tears. My shivers were very clear to see. I approached the outside of his apartment place. Would he even still be up? I don't have a choice to ask as I'm already buzzing in to call him. A few seconds go by and I heard nothing. I buzzed again, hoping to have him talk.

Nothing, so I finally hold down the button. "K-Kevin... It's (Y/N)." I started, my crying was breaking into my tone. "Please... I need help!" I mumbled, leaning against the wall and sobbing yet again as I was alone. "My fiancee broke up with me, kicked me out and had another woman in our home!" I cried out but nothing seem to get his attention.

I backed away, holding my hands to my chest and holding in my tears. Silence fell and the water hit me harder than before, my hope was gone and I looked up to his room. His lights were on, and was ignoring me on purpose. Kevin isn't that type of person but it seemed like he changed since the last time I've seen him unfortunately.

I turn around, clutching my bag and holding my mouth to cover my endless noises.

A noise of a door creaking and look to it to see Kevin panting and sweating with a gasp of air for him. He looked me in the eyes and swallowed a lump in his throat. "Wait, come back..." Kevin reached his hand to me, offering it to let me accept it slowly. I grabbed onto him and he looked me in the eyes. "God, you look fecking terrible." He commented as we walked inside and he guided me towards the hallway with the stairs. I faintly remember these halls about some years ago.

"I had to walk here in the rain, took like an hour cause it's so far."

"You could've called," he said as we took our steps up, "I wouldn't mind to come pick you up."

"Phone's dead and I was kicked from my home before I could get my stupid stuff." I showed him my plastic bag. "He just got my stuff that got damaged in the water. My phone did too sadly." I sighed out, coming up to the third floor and walking into the halls of all the rooms. "I'm sorry for showing up so late." I mentioned to him.

"It's good to see you again, I just haven't seen you since we... uhm." He trailed off as I did. We approached his door and I saw a noise complaint on it. Figures since he was loud since his room was always right next to someone else's apartment. He opened it up and showed me in.  I walked onto his carpet and felt how soft it was. When I looked down to see I've made a wet streak into the apartments. "Don't worry about it, it's just water; it'll dry up before anyone else will even try to notice." He laughed softly to himself.
