Keys dangling, I rushed into the door. Not bothering to give a knock, only forcing it open. I took my pride and shoved it away as it wasn't something I had to be the bigger man. My smile was more relaxed when my eyes landed on my door, I was planning to get my stuff then leave the damn place faster than I could see him. If he did see me, oh well.
I opened the door with a force as my eyes landed on... not my stuff. It looked like an updated version including stuff that wasn't mine. I heard a yell from behind and I turned just as fast to see a woman sprawling herself to the kitchen. Kevin rushed in, taking his steps and watching me as I was just confused. "Hello?" I relaxed, more concerned about it.
"Hello?! 911?! Someone broke into my apartment!" I heard from the woman who was in the kitchen, I looked to Kevin to see him just as bewildered. "Please!"
"Hey! I live here!"
"No! Me and my boyfriend does! Leave me alone!"
"Well last time I paid the bills!" I shouted, walking into the kitchen a little bit annoyed that she would call the police on me. I look to see her holding a knife, my eyes went wide as they tried to back away against the wall as she was waving it around like a madman. "Woah there, my ex kicked me out and I now own the property from the last payment?"
"But he said you died!" She cried.
Kevin raised an eyebrow as I didn't even know what happened. "No, she got kicked out... she had to stay at my place because of him." He told the story, leaving out most of the details but got the juice stupid so it wasn't really worried. The woman was scared, sure; but she seems calm down after she was just as confused as we were.
"But all that stuff...? He said I could have it, saying that you went to go commit suicide?" She expressed, gettung sadder. "I just lost my own apartment, he said I can move in with him two days ago..." She held the knife closer, making her more defencive.
"Great, I just lost my own apartment. Now I want it back and I paid it off, so you and him need to go." I wanted her out, it wasn't so her because she got lied to, it was just the disgusting thought that he would move on from me so quickly it would make me so angry just thinking about it.
"This place is all I have..." She mumbled.
Looking to Kevin as if I hoped he would back me up here, I can only see that he was more concerned about it. Which made me think about this for my 3rd person view, I shouldn't be kicking her out so soon. I at least need to give her a day just to get out.
"You have a day and a half to get out." I told her. "My ex stole half of my money already, then I plan on selling everything in this place to get it back and then move out of here." I told her. Sure was a nice place, but I was going to let the tainted memories want me to stay here any longer. "And where is he?"
"He's at the bank right now..." She said.
I turned to Kevin. "He's probably trying to get the rest of the money out of the account... I think with what I paid off their doing like a dime." I told, as I faced him. "Wanna help me throw shit out the widow?"
