"So there is this guy, he is a football player and really cute" I told my friend Austin. "What he look like?" he asked. What did he look like, Like a fucking daddy jesus he was fine. "He's lightskin, so fine, he has a nose ring, dreads, and really nice eyebrows" I said in awe. I was completely infatuated with him. Just the thought of him made me melt.

"So what is he gay,bi..?" Austin said to me

"Well he is bi but don't tell anyone he isn't out" I said a little nervously because I knew what was about to come next.

"Another closet case Edwin! I thought you said you would only go for guys that were out in the open. Remember Derek, he literally broke your heart" Austin lectured me.

"That was in the 8th grade I have had boyfriends since then". He was my best friend and he was always trying to protect me but I have had at least 4 boyfriends since Derek. I knew what I was doing, I am 16. "Austin this guy is different, he is to good to pass bye" I said to him. He rolled his eyes at me and and took a bit of his apple.

Austin practically threw up his apple all over the table. "Zion Kuwonu, as in the guy who is captain of the Ridgeway football team". I didn't know he had a whole title. I nod my head yes and he literally has a Spaatz attach in his seat. "Your ex boyfriend hates that guy" he said looking at me with his eyebrow frowned.

"Who i'm interested in is non of of Isaiah's business" I glared at him and poked at my tamale and took a bite. I had that resting bitch face on right now which was never really a good sign. Isaiah was the captain of Carrillo's football team which mean't all eyes on him. When we were dating all he did was put me on display. Don't get me wrong we had good times but if I wasn't checking him all the time he would have cheated on me.

"Zion and I are meeting after the game tonight and no one, not even you, or Isaiah, or even the whole school could stop me"

Austin was very disapproving of everyone I looked at and he always got on me when I said something about the girls he dates. It was stupid but I knew he mean't well when he complained. "You know he dated Jenna Graph" Austin said to me. This caught my attention, Jenna was a very Pretty girl and she was really nice. Now that I know that we both share or at least shared an interest in the same guy is kind of intimidating.

She was the definition of beautiful and I was a short Dominican with sometimes nappy curls. I wonder why they broke up? Whatever doesn't matter he is odviously into me now. "You know I liked Isaiah he was a good guy. You should give him a second chance". What the fuck did Austin just Say?!

"Look there are plenty of twinks throwing themselves at him so he will be fine without me. He has A MILLION OPTIONS"

The game was gunna start in a bit as both teams already ran out onto the field. I could see Zion on the Home side, number 8. "Sup bitch" Jerrick and Austin came and sat down next to."Do you think I should go over and say hi"I asked Austin. He laughed a bit and shook his head "Right before a game?! you wanna get jumped". Jerrick laughed with him a bit. I could see how that could be a bad idea.

"Whatever I still want a hot dog im going to the snack bar"I said getting up. The snack bar and bathrooms were a neutral place for both schools. It was where both schools would co exist without fighting and stuff. I approach the front of the line and start to pullout my wallet. "Ya high can I get a hot dog please" I asked.

The guy slide me my food. "That will be 2.75$" He said, i pulled out my wallet but someone grabs my hand. "Hey Jackson this one's on me"...Isaiah of course. I turned around and looked at him straight in the eyes. "Shouldn't you be on the field the game is about to start" I said with no emotion
