As August rolled around, my dad and I decided to go get my necessities for Hogwarts. He drove us to a place called, The Leaky Cauldron. My dad walked up to the bartender.

"Good afternoon, sir," he tipped his hat. "Mind showing us where Diagon Alley might be? It's my daughter's first time."

"Ah yes, follow me!" The bartender obliged.

He brought us to the back and tapped the stones on the brick wall. Like legit magic, the wall shifted into an opening to a different location, which I assumed was Diagon Alley. It was incredible! So many people were roaming the pathways and flooding the stores. I couldn't believe my eyes! My dad caught my expression and smirked.

"Come now, dear. We need to get to your vault."

I raised a brow. "My vault?"

My dad nodded, "yes, your vault. Remember that key your Aunt Cristine gave you, before she passed?" I held the key around my neck, showing that I had it. "That's her vault key. She decided to pass it down to you when you get your chance to attend Hogwarts. Come, Gringotts isn't far."

Walking through the crowd, we stop by the wizard bank, Gringotts. Inside there were these creatures, that I've come to know as goblins. My dad stands in front of the head of the bank.

He spoke, "My daughter, Naomi Lockery, would like to make a withdrawal."

The goblin takes his eye from his work, leaning a bit over his desk, looking down at me. "And does Ms. Lockery have her key?" I gave my necklace to my dad and he handed it to the goblin. "Alright. Griphook will escort you to your vault, don't fall behind."

Another goblin, Griphook,  lead us to a small cart over a railway. We get inside and stopped at vault 258.

"Key, please" the creature asked.

My dad gave him the key and opened the door. Inside, there were different varieties of coins. Bronze, silver, and gold. Dad gave me a medium size satchel and I grabbed as much money as I could. I got out of that room and let the Griphook close the door.

"Would you like a charm on your satchel, so you can collect your money from your vault?"

Before I could say anything, my father flatly said, "no, thank you."

We all get back in the cart and I asked my father. "Why not have a charm? It would be easier."

He replied with, "and if someone were to take your satchel, they could easily rob from you. Rather not take that risk."

"I guess that makes sense..."
