I knew the name, Mud-blood, from Fred, George, and Lee. But, I didn't think much of it. At least, not until today.....

One day, after a few classes the Slytherin team an I were on our way to Quidditch practice. Then, we ran into the Gryffindor team.

"Where do you think you're going, Flint?" Oliver questioned.

"Quidditch practice." My team captain answered.

"I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today."

"Easy, Wood, I've got a note." He says, pulling out a small scroll and gave it to Oliver.

And Hermione and Ron joined to listen. "I, Professor Severus Snape, do hereby give the Slytherin team permission to practice today. Only to train their new seeker. You've got a new seeker, who?"

The team spreads open and Malfoy came in front. "Malfoy?"

"That's right!" He smirked, "and that's not all that's new this year!" He motions to his broomstick and everyone elses, including me.

"Those are Nimbus 2001s," Ron gasped. "How did you get those?"

"A gift, from Draco's father." Replied Flint.

And Draco kept bragging, "See Weasley, unlike some, my father can afford the best!"

"At least, no one on the Gryffindor team had to bye their way in. Including Naomi, she and they got it on pure talent." Hermione sassed back. I giggled, hoping no one would here.

Draco was annoyed with her smart mouth. He got in her face and said, "No one asked for your opinion, you filthy, little mud-blood."

Small gasps and whispers began between the two teams. Ron was angry with Malfoy for humiliating our friend, he pulled out his wand, and tried casting a curse at him but I back fired. The spell knocked him back, sliding across the grass. The Gryffindor team and I ran up to side as my opposing team just laugh.

"Are you okay, Ron?!" Hermione asks, worried. "Say something!"

Ron flipped over, puking out a slug from his mouth. Gross! Collin took a picture of the slug asking Harry to turn it around. He clearly said, "no," and he and Hermione thought to bring him to Hagrid's. I tried to follow but was hold back by my team. Right, practice.

As we were on the field, I couldn't help but feel guilty for what happened to Ron and Hermione. I flew a few laps, practicing with the Quaffle as the rest of my team helped Draco. We were now, taking a quick break and I decided to read one of my favorite books, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego.

Then, Malfoy came by, "What'cha doing all by yourself, Mud-blood?"

"Is that the best you can do?" I raised a brow. "Please, I've been called worst, now go away." I shooed him off.

Without knowing anything to call me, he stormed off. I smile at my triumph and continued to read and went back in to practice....
