I was now at lunch, sitting with my friends at the Slytherin table, finishing some homework so I won't have to do it later. I suddenly hear a small explosion across the room. I turn my head and see that Seamus had blown something up again. I giggled at his attempt. Then my eyes landed on a certain redheaded boy. He sent a kind smiled at me, it made me blush and smile too.

"Who are you looking at?" Thelma questioned, looking around the room.

Before I could answer, owls were heard. Signaling that mail was here. Many kinds of owls came by dropping packages and letters. I saw my barn owl, Dr. Hoo, as he dropped my mail and flew away. It was a small, light pink box, with a golden 'N' on the lid. Inside were my favorite candies and treats. There were also two heart shaped stones. A rose quartz and an amethyst.

But what I loved most of all was, a music box

But what I loved most of all was, a music box. It was small like the size of my hand. The box was made of thin, card paper, with it's handle sticking out. It had the picture of Vincent Van Gogh's 'Irises' and played the song of Beethoven's Für Elise. It was beautiful.

 It was beautiful

The last class I had for today was Flying, with Madam Hooch. She walked out on the field greeting us.

"Good afternoon, class!"

"Good afternoon, Madam Hooch!" We return.

"Welcome to your first flying lesson. Well, what are you wanting for? Everyone step up to the left side of your broomstick." She instructed. "Come on, now! Hurry up!" We did as she said. "Stick your right hand over your broom, and say 'up'!"

"Up!" Mine didn't come up. I gave it a second go and it flew straight to my hand. I smiled proudly.

Some were having trouble but, most of them succeeded. One of the brooms hit Ron in the face, some of us laughed.

"Shut up, Harry!" He playfully muttered. "You too, Naomi!"

As soon as everyone got their broomsticks in hand, Madam Hooch gave the following instructions.

"Now, once you've got hold of your broom, I want you to mount it. And grip it tight, you don't want to be sliding off the end. When I blow my whistle, I want each of you to kick off the ground hard. Keep your broom steady, hover for a moment, then lean forward, slightly, and touch back down. On my whistle, three, two–"

Suddenly, Neville was extremely nervous that cause his broom to fly higher that Madam Hooch instructed. She called out to the Gryffindor, ordering him to come back. The broom took matters into it's own stick a flew off, with Neville holding on for dear life. It went ballistic knocking into the castle walls and swerving all over. Neville near rammed into us but we got out of the way.

I was so scared that something might happen to him. I mounted my broom and followed him, with Madam Hooch calling me back. Neville then got caught on a statue's spear and dangled. I reached my hand towards him.

"Neville, grab my hand!" I urged.

In a blink of an eye, his robe tore and fell again, but was caught by a torch post, and fell again. I flew straight down, but I was too late. I heard a pop and I knew it couldn't be good.

"Everyone, out of the way!" Madam Hooch ran to us. "Ms. Lockery, I understand your concern for your friend, but leave the solution to me. You don't want to end up hurting yourself. Especially if it's your first time on a broomstick. Am I clear?" She scolded me.

I nodded my head with respect. "Crystal, Madam."

"Now, let's have a look." Neville winced at her touch. "Ooh dear, it's a broken wrist. Come on, boy, up you go!" She gently picked him up, escorting him away, with a warning. "Everyone is to keep they're feet firmly on the ground while I take Mr. Longbottom to the Hospital Wing, understand? If I see a single broom up in the air again, the one riding it will find themselves out of Hogwarts before they can say 'Quidditch'."

When Madam Hooch was out of sight, Malfoy laughed having something in hand.

"Did you see his face? Maybe if the fat lump gave this a squeeze, he'd remember to fall on his fat arse!"

I knew he was making fun of Neville. My free hand was balling into a fist and my teeth were gritting.

"Give it here, Malfoy!" Harry demanded.

He turn with a dark look. "No," he resisted. "I think I'll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to find! How about on a roof?!" He hopped on his broomstick and began to hover 12 ft. "What's the matter, Potter, a bit beyond your reach?" Malfoy mocked. "Care to join too, Lockery?"

Harry and I were fed up by this asshole. We mounted our brooms. Hermione stepped up trying to stop us.

"Harry, Naomi, no way! You guys heard what Madam Hooch said, besides Harry, you don't even know how to fly!"

We were taking the risk of being expelled if it meant we can return the remembrall back to Neville. Either way, I can still attend Ilvermorny. Harry and I were facing Draco in the air.

"Give it here, Malfoy, or I'll knock you off your broom!" Harry threatened.

"Is that so?" I tried to take it but he dodged. "Have it your way, then!" He threw the small orb far away, I couldn't see.

"Harry!"

He flew full speed with me following behind him. I don't know how but, he caught it before it hit the window.

"Nice one!" I congratulated. We flew back on the ground with the rest of the class cheering for us but, mostly Harry. The excitement didn't last long when Professor McGonagall showed up.

"Harry Potter, Naomi Lockery! Follow me."

Draco and his gang laughed believing that we were done for. But they were oh, so wrong...
