Hybrid - Yoonmin

Part 4: 'Adopting'

"Wait so you want to adopt?!" Taehyung said in complete disbelief that the cute boy talking to him wanted to have a hybrid.

Jungkook nodded showing his bunny teeth in response as he chuckled.

"Are hybrids allowed to adopt hybrids?" Taehyung asked looking to Jimin who stared at him blankly not sure how to tell him the obvious...

"He's not a hybrid Tae." Jin said softly to the boy as his face turned to Jimin in disbelief who just nodded slowly.

Taehyung's face turned bright red and he hid in his legs which Yoongi tried to help by defending him saying "Well his teeth are cute like a bunnies and he's wearing a hat."

Jungkook nodded not wanting the hybrid to feel embarrassed agreeing saying "If I didn't know me I'd guess the same, like look at these."

Jungkook pointed to his teeth as Taehyung looked up through his hands.

Jungkook scrunched his face up to try and look more bunny like which caused both the young hybrids to chuckle.

"Yeah and Yoongi looks kinda like a cat with his eyes, nose and mouth. Right Jiminie?" Jin said trying to involve the quieter.

Jimin nodded shyly not being to confident around new people but they were his Jin hyungs friends so he had to at least try.

"He looks like a cute squishy cat." Jimin said quietly earning a small smile from Yoongi who appreciated the effort.

Jungkook had to fight back laughter since he knew Yoongi's whole brand was swag, and since he didn't defend it he knew he shouldn't tease him.

He respected his hyung.

But that didn't mean he would seize the moment to say "Yoongi hyung is really cute. Like super cute. But not as cute as you two."

Both hybrids smiled in response as Jimin quietly whispered "I think he's cuter... no offence TaeTae."

Taehyung faked that he was upset which made Jimin instantly panic hugging him saying "I know you too well to think your cute. It doesn't mean I think your not amazing or attractive or whatever."

Everyone noticed how Jimin suddenly got a lot more talkative thinking his friend was upset which made them all coo.

Taehyung turned around with a very fake pout which Jimin still believed before mumbling "I guess I'll forgive you." Which made the older of the twos face light up.

"Thank you thank you thank you." Jimin said happily hugging the puppy who happily hugged back both smiling.

Jin's smile watching however turned to a frown remembering just how much he missed them everyday which went away temporarily when he first saw them.

The harsh reality of what they had to put up with when he wasn't there set it and he knew how even though they said they were fine on their own they weren't and he couldn't bare the thought of leaving them.

Namjoon looked to Jin noticing this look so whispered "Baby what's wrong?" Which made Jin frown deeper catching everyone's attention.

Yoongi already figured out what it was.

"Mr old guy said that TaeTae and Jiminie are a bundle deal but Jungkookie can only Home one and so can you which is me... that leaves one of them or both of them alone..." Jin pointed out bringing frowns to there faces.

Yoongi knew this would happen and already wanted to help without the sob story - which showed a lot more than you'd think.

He wanted to help these hybrids.

But he knew he'd have to think seriously first.

Jimin smiled softly at Taehyung before saying "I'm sure the owner would be easy to talk into taking Taehyung with you without the whole bundle deal thing. Tae's the trouble maker out of the two even though he's no trouble. Just happy."

They all looked to Jimin knowing what he was building to but didn't want to say yes to it.

"I couldn't separate you both." Jungkook said looking sweetly at the kitten hybrid who now had more confidence.

"You both get on really well though and you've already got more patience for Taehyungie than most people. If you take him now he won't... he... he'll be happier in the long term." Jimin said watching as Taehyung's heart broke.

Yoongi was curious as to how serious Jimin was being so waited before proposing an offer.

Jungkook looked torn as did Taehyung and everyone else.

Taehyung didn't want to leave his friend to be 'adopted' by someone he'd just met - Jin's friend or not.

It would be different if he knew he'd be able to see Jimin whenever he wanted and that Jimin would be safe but he wouldn't.

Not here.

"Kim Taehyung if you don't take this opportunity I'll never forgive you." Jimin said repeating the same words he said to Jin when Namjoon offered to take him in.

Something Jin was grateful for but at the time hurt, and felt regretful about.

Jimin knew this but knew he'd be happier and that's all that mattered to him since he had a bad habit of underestimating his worth but also using its high value to get what he wanted - his friends safe.

They could all tell how serious Jimin was being but it didn't seem serious due to the cute attempt at a serious expression which said it all, that he was hurting behind those large eyes.

But Taehyung could also tell Jimin was being completely serious.

And he knew he couldn't say no or he would never live it down.

Taehyung hung his head low nodding as he rightly gripped on the kittens arm who sighed in relief his friend would be okay.

They both knew it wasn't like Jimin didn't want Taehyung there or that he hated him, it was the opposite, but they both knew Jimin wanted the people around him to be the happiest no matter what which was only a trait Jin and Taehyung knew so far.

The others not wanting to separate friends when it wasn't really a choice from the moment Jimin got serious.
