Ivy's POV
I stood there staring at him for the longest time. He was even cuter than he looked in pictures (even though I wasn't really sure how that was possible) and he had the most adorable smile on his face. It felt like at least a minute before I finally realized that I was staring, accept it was probably only 10 seconds. I quickly looked away completely embarrassed. My face was probably beet red and I felt like I was hyperventilating. I finally worked up the courage to say something to him.
"Haha yeah. Starbucks is great." I said awkwardly.
Then an idea came to me.
"I actually work here. I can make you a drink if you want."
"Aww are you sure? That would actually be great, I'm supposed to be at the theatre soon."
"Okay great! What do you want? I can make it for you right now." I told him while fangirling way too much in my head.
"I'll have a Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato."
"Okay cool! I'll have it for you in like 5 minutes." I said as I rushed off to the front.
As I was making his drink I couldn't help but be a little bit proud. I knew a lot of baristas who would kill to serve/meet a Broadway star. It's weird for me that I'm in that crowd now, but I guess I should just embrace it.
Holly's POV
While Ivy rushed off to make a drink for some random guy, which was really weird by the way, I was left standing next to him. I usually don't mind at all when I have to talk to strangers, but the way that this guy made Ivy's face the color of Rudolph's nose left me a little intimidated. I looked at him a little closer, and he was kinda cute. And I absolutely hate awkward situations (almost as much as I hate musical theatre) so I did my best to start a conversation.
"So do you come here often?" I asked him.
"Yeah pretty often. You?" He said before looking back at his phone.
Oh great. He's one of the unpredictable-not-social type.
"I come here for the holiday drinks usually. And the fun holiday cups!" I said while making sure I didn't ramble.
Why was I so nervous in front of this guy?
"Haha you like Christmas a lot, huh?" He replied sarcastically.
It was very obvious though. I usually get my holiday wardrobe on waaay before December starts. Usually in January. Translation: you will never find me without green or red on. Today I was wearing a red plaid shirt with a red scarf and forest green pants.
I may be "Christmas crazy" but I can still be stylish.
"Yes I love it! I mean who doesn't? The lights and the atmosphere..."
