I woke up in a hazy state as I vividly remembered the strange events that I had been sucked into the night before.

I sat up in my bed with my arms supporting me as I looked around and the box piles that surrounded themselves around my bedroom. I took in the silence of my apartment as it was my first time waking up in my new bed and new life.

As if on queue, my phone began to ring.

As I leant over to my bedside table, I picked up the phone and answered as I rubbed my eyes. "Hello?"

"(Y/N)! Don't tell me that you're still in bed!" My best friend, Min Yoongi shouted to me through the phone, "well actually i don't blame you for that. Just get your ass out of bed, I'm coming to get you and we are going to that cafe remember? For our job interviews?"

I groaned as I stood up out of bed and walked towards my window as I looked down onto my street to see the empty atmosphere.

"Yeah I remember. Just let me get-"

"No, I'll be there in five minutes and I'm not waiting for your slow ass. I'm a man on a mission."

With that, Yoongi hung up the phone and left me reminicing in my memories of him and I as I went through one of the boxes in my room to find an outfit to wear.

Although my parents were controlling about who I was able to associate with, Yoongi and I were practically joined at the hip when it came to friendship. We both agreed to move to this city with one another so we were able to lean on one another for support during our tough times.

I could never imagine that it would become a reality though. And now I was apart of an underground dance group and was about to go for a job interview at a cafe.

"My life does not make sense right now." I said to myself as I changed into a soft grey sweater and a black skirt before tying up the shoelaces on my shoes and walking out into my lounge room where I decided to pack some small things away in my tv stand before hearing a horn honking out the front of my building.

I recognised it as Yoongi and quickly grabbed my keys, phone and wallet before running downstairs and hopping into the car that was waiting outside.

As I jumped in I turned and greeted my friend.

"What's poppin' bitch?" I asked with a grin.

Yoongi shook his head as he turned back onto the road and began to drive towards the cafe.

"You are sounding much more awake now." He commented, barely looking awake himself.

"I'm excited. New opportunities are greeting me and I'm finally starting to live my own life," I paused as I turned to look at Yoongi as he focused on the road, "so who is this Park Jimin you were talking about earlier in the week? You said he can help us with the jobs?"

Yoongi's lips pressed into a line before he parked the car and unbuckled his seatbelt while his eyes stared down at his thighs.

"Uh Jimin is a...close friend of mine. He owns the Cafe and when I told him that you and I were moving here he was more than happy to offer us positions." Yoongi explained as he stepped out of the car.

I shut the door behind me as we beagn to walk toward the cafe in question. I tutted before speaking.

"Yoongi, that's cheating! We don't even have to be interviewed?" I asked him and Yoongi simply shrugged in the clueless nature that he was usually accustomed to.

"I think this time now is for him to get to know you better. My position is barista. He wants to meet you first and see what you would be best with."

I raised my eyebrows to Yoongi, a giggle falling from my lips as I spoke.

"You know how to brew coffee? You are full of surprises!" I joked, earning an unamused glare from Yoongi.

"For your information, most of my nights actually consist of making coffee in the early hours of the morning. Around two in the morning to be exact." He explained as I rolled my eyes.

"No wonder you're always sleeping in the day." I mumbled to myself before getting a sharp elbow from Yoongi.

"What was that now?" He asked with narrowed eyes as I carefully laughed off my comment before entering the cafe. Immediately I was hit with the warm and inviting scent of grounded coffee beans while coffee machines steamed in the background.

"I wonder where Jimin is-"

"Minnnnnn Yoooooongiiiiiiiiii!~" a high pitched voice cooed as a orange haired man ran out from behind the counter with a dirty apron wrapped around his torso as he embraced Yoongi closely,
"I was wondering when you'd get here!"

Yoongi immediately stiffened underneath the males embrace before awkwardly clearing his throat and stepping out from the arms of the other male with a shy grin.

"Hey Jimin. This is Han (Y/N)." Yoongi gestured to me and I bowed quickly to Jimin with a soft smile.

"Hello, it's lovely to meet you." I greeted Jimin who looked at me in thought for a moment before walking over to me and grabbing onto my hands as he looked down at the lines in my palms before flipping them over and looking at the veins underneath my skin.

I looked to Yoongi in an uncomfortable way and watched as Yoongi shrugged, "he did this to me when we first met as well. His hobby is being a palm reader." However that didn't make it any less weird for me.

"Oh you're a very energetic person who is full of life and talent! You'd be perfect as a waitress here!" Jimin said as he let one of my hands go and pulled me towards the counter, "I'll introduce you to our other waiter."

Yoongi slowly followed after us with his eyes half-lidded as he was still attempting to wake himself up in the early morning.

"Your new co-worker is here!" Jimin chimed as he stepped into the kitchen. I looked up to see a tall man in front of us with silver hair that was neatly resting on top of his head as he wore a collared black button up shirt and slacks with a green apron covering his torso.

"Hello," I greeted with a small smile as I attempted not to crumble underneath the beauty that the man radiated from just one glance, "I'm Han (Y/N) and I look forward to working with you."

The waiter smiled widely to me before bowing his head and meeting my gaze and speaking with a warm voice, "Hello, I am Jung Hoseok."
