[Alien's dance time: 0:00 - 1:16]
[(Y/N) / Queen's dance time: 1:16 - 2:13]

There was something about the atmosphere that made everything feel as if I were floating in zero-gravity.

But I had to come back to reality, because no floating void of invisibility was going to save me from a dance battle.

"Queen," Alien began with a smirk, "I plan on gaining my colour by dancing with everything I have. I only ask that you do the same for me in return."

Before I could put my two-cents into the topic, the lights changed colour and the song began to play. I was stuck trying to figure out what the hell I was doing with myself, or what I was going to do with myself. But Alien radiated a confident persona.

And that only made me feel more determined.

He began to dance to the soft start of the song, circling around me with a grin as he began to gently spin around on his tip toes, performing a beautiful pirouette as he raised his hands above his head. His smile was so prominent that I myself began to grow jealous of.

He exited the pirouette and leaped gracefully into the middle of the circle and landed on his knees and began to hold his hand over his chest as he raised it with the very soft beat of the music.

We all watched as the beat was silenced and his hand stopped moving. Then when the music began again, with a much quicker beat, Alien was brought back to life.

He propelled himself into the air with his legs and performed a split in mid air as he touched his toes and landed back to the ground with a spin as he began to hop around on his feet while his hands moved to different parts of his body.

They started with the right hand to the chest, and the left pointing out to me. With each hope he changed direction. He then went to the right, up and down before finishing it all off with crossing his hands above his head and performing a spin on the tops of his feet.

I had almost lost myself while I watched him, my gaze seeming to latch onto his movements as if I were a moth attracted to a lamp in the dark night. Something about his movements made me so hypnotised that I barely had enough time to snap out of it.

But then I saw his eyes.
King's.

They were staring at me with such ferocity that I was worried he would eat me up in an instant. Much like a lion eyeing an antelope. The same energy.

I quickly began to move with the hype beat of the song as I bounced on the tips of my toes towards Alien while my arms curled up and down beside my hips. I was in a meters distance to him before I folded my legs behind myself as I dropped down to the floor and ran my hands through my hair while I raised and lowered my torso, using the strength of my hamstrings.

It looked like I had been struck down and was attempting to come back to life. To stand on my feet once more.

I quickly grabbed hold of my ankles and rolled onto the top of my knees and going onto my thighs as I put myself into a headstand position as I began to shuffle my feet in the air as if I was dancing on them. I quickly pushed myself out of the headstand before I began to spin around the circle to widen it- my pirouette was much more sloppier than Alien's but I was still able to do what I wanted.

I stopped spinning and quickly pressed my palms onto Taehyung's shoulders before using all my might to jump and use his shoulders as a propelling station as I flipped into the air- and then touched back to the ground with a majestic bow towards Alien as the music faded.

It was silent within that space in that moment. It felt almost claustrophobic as everyone waited for King to step forward and award the winner with a new symbol. I didn't think I had done enough, I knew that I was stressed and under pressure- which forced myself to make rash decisions that I wasn't prepared to do.

But King stepped forward, reguardless of my thoughts within that moment. He held a glowing paint bowl in one of his palms while his eyes darted between Alien and I. In those last few moments, I ended up closing my eyes.

"The symbol of flexibility!" King said in a booming voice as he stood between Taehyung and I, his voice was loud enough for my ears to ring.

But then I felt the touch of his fingertip to my bicep as he drew a strange pattern to it. I opened my eyes and looked to my arm to the symbol that he had drawn on me. I then looked over to see that Taehyung's skin was being blessed with the same symbol as me.

"A tie

"A tie." The crowd mumbled to each other before King turned to Alien and I with a smile barely visable on his face as he patted our heads, "you did well." He said softly before walking into the crowd and allowing the room to fill back up with music once more as people began to jump and sway with the thumping sound of the music- becoming fully intoxicated by its noise.

Alien pulled me to the side with him and patted my shoulder with a grin, "that was a good dance battle," he began before smirking, "but you need to practice your pirouette's."

I nodded my head with a chuckle at his very valid point before placing a hand to his shoulder in return, "don't be too cocky, my dear Alien. For next time...."

".....next time there won't be a tie."
