"Ok everyone let's head inside!" Jimin said as he waddled in through the front doors and looked around at the busy room as people dancing in one corner of the room whilst there were tables in the other section for those who preferred to sit.
"Outta my way," Jin began as he headed straight for the bar, "there is a bottle of vodka with my name on it."
We all followed after Jin and admired the life of the club as we approached the bar to order our drinks. Hoseok hummed as he looked at the drink menu.
"Do you have a favourite?" I asked him as I read over his shoulder to see what I would like to order. Hoseok tapped his chin in thought before meeting my gaze and smiling softly.
"I usually take one of their signature drinks called Hope. I think it's really good but I haven't found anyone who agrees with me yet." He said as he slid the drink menu toward me.
I nodded my head before I slid the menu across as well and leant against the bar as I smiled to Hoseok, "then I'll try Hope and see how I feel about it. You never know, it might just become my favourite."
Hoseok started at me for a moment before he chuckled to himself and shook his head as if he were laughing at an inside joke that only he knew the punchline to. It made my curious as to what it was that he was thinking about.
"Then let's order-" Hoseok paused as he gestured towards Jin who had a bottle of vodka in his hand that literally had his name on it as he took a long sip from the bottles neck, "I thought he was being metophorical."
I watched in awe before snickering, "so did I. But with the way he is drinking he will be on his ass before the next hour comes by."
Hoseok snickered for a moment before facing the bartender to order our two drinks. I went to pull out some money to pay for my drink but Hoseok insisted on paying for the both of us.
Once our drinks were placed down in front of us, Hoseok and I headed to a booth where we found Yoongi and Jimin sitting already. I stopped for a moment and grabbed Hoseok's jacket before I gestured towards the two males.
"Maybe we should sit somewhere else. Those two have some private talking to do I think." I said to him, my heart warming at the very sight of them both.
Hoseok nodded and we headed to another free booth before we slid into the seats and began sipping at our cocktails.
"What is the deal with those two anyways?" Hoseok began, "Jimin never shuts up about him."
I sat back in my seat while playing with my drinking straw and watching the liquid in my glass slosh against the ice cubes.
"I believe they had a history a while back and that they never really spoke until Yoongi told Jimin that he was moving to Seoul and needed a job for he and I," I took another sip from the drink and savoured its tropical taste, "Jimin jumped at the chance to have Yoongi back in his life again."
Hoseok nodded as he swirled his straw within the glass and herded his ice cubes around the glass with a small grin, "he was so excited to have Yoongi coming in. Then I saw how excited he was when both you and Yoongi walked in. He was ecstatic."
"I'm glad to hear that," I hummed gently before looking up to Hoseok, "it's good for a person to have feelings like that for somebody."
I watched as Hoseok chuckled and then looked up to meet my gaze with a grin as he tapped the side of his glass and began to speak.
"Anyways," he began, "how about we get to know one another a bit better. Introduce yourself to me. Act like we haven't even talked before."
I sat up straight and bowed my head to Hoseok before going on with an in depth introduction of myself.
"Hello, I am Han (Y/N). I am twenty-three years old and I have moved to Seoul with my childhood friend, Min Yoongi, in hopes of chasing my long time dream of becoming a dancer. I work at a cafe owned by Park Jimin and I live in a small apartment building out to the east of town-"
"Wait- dancer?" Hoseok questioned as he sat forward, "you want to be a dancer?"
His eyes seemed to glimmer with curiosity as he asked his question as he wanted a deeper insight into my life. I didn't know why that point in my introduction struck his attention but I answered him nonetheless.
"Yeah, a dancer. It's always been a dream of mine. My parents were so controlling of my life and they had other plans for me but.." I trailed off and looked down at my drink, "after I hit my teenage years I began to rebel during high school. I joined an after school dance club and told my parents it was extension maths revision."
Hoseok chuckled as he sipped his drink, "you are passionate about your dream then?"
I nodded to him as I pictured myself on a stage in front of thousands of people as I performed with my whole being in order to project as much energy as I could to astonish the audience.
"I'm going to find a way to make it happen. Anyway that I have to, I'm willing to do anything for this dream.." I confessed to him my passion for my dream in hope to make him understand how serious I was about it.
He nodded his head, which seemed to be how he showed he was listening through most of our conversations. Hoseok proceeded to lift his drink and gently tap the glass against my own in a toast.
"I hope your dream comes true, just as I hope mine does."
