It was the winter season, the skies were full of grey clouds and the rain left a scent on the cold air.

I was walking to Starbucks, my hands in my rain coat's pockets and my school bag on my back.

I entered Starbucks and the warm air of the AC stormed my skin, I felt warm.

I went up to the cashier to order a drink, I ordered f/d (favorite drink)

The cashier called my name meaning my drink was ready. I grabbed my f/d and chose a table to sit on, I chose a table that was beside a window with tiny leftover raindrops from the rain.

I pulled out my laptop and my headphones so I can start my school work while listening to music.

Time passed By and I finish my f/d and ordered a cookie that I'm taking a bite of every now and then while studying.

This is so calming, I should do this more often.

I was studying and I was really focused, until I felt someone's presence in front of me.

I removed my headphones and looked at the person, they looked oddly familiar.

"Um, hey excuse me, do you need this chair." they asked.

They sound very, very familiar...

"Uh, no, you can take it." I turned my face back to my laptop and was putting my headphones on-

"Um, sorry but are you y/n y/l/n?" They asked

How the fLiP do they know mY NaMe???

"Uhh yeah?" I look around awkwardly.

WhO iS HeE?!

"Doesn't look like you remember me, but I'm Finn, Finn Wolfhard." He introduces himself
and chuckled.

My eyes widen...

OMFG!! FINN WOLFHARD!!! I REMEMBER HIM NOW, HE'S MY EX FROM 3 YEARS!!!

"By the look on your face I can tell you remember me now." He chuckled, I awkwardly chuckled back.

He looks soooo much different now, he's taller and idk he looks more manly and his voice became muchhh deeper. He looks much handso-

"So how have you been lately? It's been a really long time since I saw you." He cuts my thoughts and takes a seat in front of me.

"I'm doing good, and yeah we haven't seen each other for a long time." I awkwardly smile

I HATE THIS! THIS SO AWKWARD! I CANT!

"So... what about you? How are you?" I say breaking the silence

"Really good, actually. We're filming the fourth season of Stranger Things and it's going really well."

"Oh that's nice." I nod

Finn and I are still talking and he really changed... he's more idk... mature than he used to be...

Our conversation isn't awkward anymore we're more comfortable by now, I guess.

As we were talking our conversation started to shift into a deeper one.

"Y/n?"

"Hm." I hummed

"I just wanted to say, I miss you like a lot, and I'm really sorry for what I've done to you and not treating you well and not appreciating you. Sitting here with you and talking to you, just makes me think of how dumb of a person I am when I treated you terribly and left an amazing soul like yours. So I'm really sorry and I really, really miss you." Finn said genuinely

I looked at his eyes and sent him a soft smile, I held his hands in mine and said, "I accept your apology and I miss you too, Finn."

"Can we restart? And just be friends again?" Finn asked looking into my eyes.

"I would love that."

I bought Finn into a hug and felt as he hugged me tighter...
