Summary: Tyler caught you having a nightmare while you were asleep.

TYLER POV

It was late at night, the round moon shining bright, its white light seeking between the small gap of my bedroom curtains, forming a straight line on the ground extending across the room.

I flip over to lay on my back sighing. My eyes met my blank ceiling, thoughts of whatever were running through my head as I wasn't able to sleep. 

A long sigh escaped my lips as I look over to my right to see her sleeping peacefully, her head was resting on my pillow with her long hair all over it messily, yet I found it cute. Her lips were slightly parted apart as quiet breaths escaped her mouth. Her cheeks were rosy red, eyelashes long and beautiful. I leant in and placed a soft kiss on y/n's cheeks.

I returned to my previous position laying on my back facing my blank ceiling again, my hands crossed behind my head. The room was filled with silence, only crickets chirping outside in the dark night and my clock ticking. Everything else was asleep. 

Suddenly, y/n's breathing was more audible and heavy, I look over to her, her forehead was getting sweaty. Her peaceful sleeping expression switched to an uncomfortable and scared frown. Her body began to shift rapidly back and forth like she was avoiding something.

A whimper escaped her mouth, I was extremely confused.

Is she having a nightmare ?

I sat up examining y/n's actions questioning if she's alright. 

My heart pumping rapidly, an anxious expression plastered among my face, since I'm worried her actions would lead to circumstances that I may lose her.

Y/n's eyes began to water though they were still closed, "Please stop. Please!" She spoke in her sleep crying. I didn't like it seeing her like this I was feeling distressed. But I figured y/n was having a bad dream after she spoke in her sleep, sending me the feeling of relief.

I shifted towards her and wrapped my arms around her body, "Shhh, it's ok y/n. I'm here. Shh, you're just having a bad dream baby." I caressed her h/c hair calmly comforting her, then placing a soft kiss on the top of her head, "It's gonna be alright I'm here with you y/n." I spoke to her as my body clanged to her's.

Eventually, after comforting y/n from her nightmare, her body relaxed from its tensed position. No more tears left her eyes. Meanwhile I was still comforting my girl. 

Soon, y/n buried her face in my chest placing her hand on mine and her legs tangled with mine under the sheets. Y/n's unexpected move made me warm on the inside, forming a genuine smile to form on my lips as I was looking at her next to me.

"I'm always here for you babygirl." I whispered to her sleeping body as I closed my eyes and slept hugging the love of my life.
